:) I watched my new dvd of Goldfinger the other night. The opening scene where Connery removes his wet suit to reveal his white dinner jacket, then walks into the lounge as the installation blows up pretty much encapsulates the Connery Bond's dash, elegance and humor.

I guess it all depends on how Craig's next film is.
If it is as good as CR, then he may well pip my all-time fav No. 1 spot......
Is this a serious question ? Connery had the height, physical presence, dark good looks, voice and charisma. He could turn heads stir by walking into a room. Craig has'nt got any of these qualities & has only made one offical Bond movie (that is one too many for me !). Comparing Connery to Moore or Brosnan is a better debate.

Those are all weak points in agruing that Daniel Craig is not a worthy Bond. I don't think he's a better Bond than Connery. But he hasn't been given a fair go by alot of people, who come across as alot of kiddies whinning that smarmy army Boresnan got dropped. This idea that his height is wrong is frankly pathetic mate. The thing with the character of Bond is that he's so different to alot of people that he has a different appeal to many. Fans of the books. Fans of the 6 different Bond actors...and the style they each played the character. I like all about Bond. Every aspect. And have a like of all the Bond actors. Though DAD was the biggest pile of c r a p in the franchise's history. How anyone can argue about CR after that fiasco is beyond me.

Dr House on Connery Vs. Craig.

Dr House on Connery Vs. Craig.
Treating a patient one of her a symptom was the inability to decide.
–House asked "Who's the better James Bond Sean Connery or Daniel Craig?"
Patient gurgles going in to a seizure.
- House"Now, see, that's not even a decision."
Make them serious nudes!

So other than being a House fan (not that there's anything wrong with that) what was the point of this again?

Well, it was amusing. What more "point" do you need?

Not necessarily, but being amusing is sufficient reason for a post's existence, I feel.

This goes shows the American consciousness of 007 and the actors that play him. One of the only American shows to mention Daniel by name. Intriguingly while it does not "bash" Daniel, neither does it fall in line with the Hype.
In the last few weeks there were 007 references on top rated shows that never broach the subject of Daniel concentrating on the classic, enjoyable Bond.

Okey dokey then. But he is getting a mention.
Apparently there's no such thing as bad press.

Tell that to Craig this time last year ;)

 House always kills his patients at least twice before finding the cure.
:? There must be a whole school of acting dedicated to hospital acting seizures, spasms, how to mimic various conditions.

This time last year, all the negativity was helping spur him on to make a great Bond film.
Which of course he did.
