I believe I remember Bond visiting a brothel. I hope it's not my imagination that went wild.
Can anyone remember when such situation took place?
There is a short passage from OHMSS when he is said to dislike girls who are a "public property'. But then he mentions film start as an example.
When was Bond with a prostitue?
Re: When was Bond with a prostitue?
I can't remember exact references, but I don't think it was a one-off. The literary Bond seems to have been a regular user of prostitutes. The name Solange comes from a prostitute that he visits in 007 In New York, IIRC.

There are instances where Fleming mentions Bond visiting prostitutes, but I don't think 007 was a regular user of prostitutes though. I thought he met lots of ordinary girls to have sex with during his adventures, didn't he.Kristatos wrote:I can't remember exact references, but I don't think it was a one-off. I dunno. The way he talked about Solange in 007 In New York was much the same tone that one would use about wanting to visit a favourite restaurant while he was there.

I haven't read 007 In New York actually.
I remember in the short story From A View To A Kill, I think it is.
Bond is sitting in a Paris bar by the street contemplating about getting drunk and finding a whore for the evening.
Also in You Only Live Twice Bond and Tiger Tanaka visits some massage parlours with young girls.
On the other hand he tries to discourage Honey Ryder when she tells him she's planning to become a call girl.
I'm sure there is more stuff that touches prostitution in the books, Bond himself is like a prostitute he says to himself in FRWL when he must offer himself to Tatiana Romanova in return for the decoding machine.

Re: When was Bond with a prostitue?
It's only hinted at and unclear whether anyone would be paying her, but in TSWLM:
"Are you quite sure I can't persuade you to stay the night?"
"When one is in Egypt..."

If we're talking about the films and not the books there is Plenty O'Toole in DAF, who seems to be sort of a Las Vegas prostitute, who approaches 007 in the casino.
In OHMSS there is this conversation though.
Tracy: Think of me as a woman you've just bought.
Bond: Who needs to buy.
