E3 2013 was last week, Beyond "Rise Of The Triad 2013", and "Wolfenstein: The New Order", it was ABYSMAL.

on the Bond game Situation, a source in the gaming press who must remain anonymous owing to california Law has stated the following facts and rumours, how accurate the rumours are i do not know.

Fact: Activision will NOT be making any more 007 titles as "they are not profitable" and are focussing all there efforts on Cry On Doody, Ghasts (sorry, chanelling Yahtzee) the "next generation" of their electronic us marine corp themed babysitters for braindead murican pre teens, wich is STILL using the quake III engine even on ps4.

Rumour: Activision has the franchise up for sale for the money they lost on the past 4 games of the franchise, rumoured to be over 20 million US dollars

Fact: Take 2 software were interested before Legends release, but have recently pulled out with the Hauser brothers calling the series as "too Far gone" and "beyond all repair" and will "be focussing on Agent with Rockstar North" Instead.

Rumour: Ubisoft were interested in the franchise (factual information, they were interested),. but rumour has it they have pulled out upon being told by Barbara Brocolli that they "had to use Daniel Craig as he is the only cannonical Bond" and there market research has shown that Daniel Craig is a major reason for Bloodstone being a flop, with him and the cheap COD rip off gameplay being the cause of the failure of the 3 other titles. (genre: spunkgargleweewee)

Fact: Sony were interested, but cannot afford the price Activision is charging, doubtless, if they could, Naughty Dog would have been developer.

Fact: EA were offered the games back by EON entertainment, but Frank Gibeau has stated "EA has No Interest in Movie Liscenced games beyond **** *** *****" (editors note, I PERSONALLY refuse to name the dead franchise he named)

Rumour: Warner Brothers Offered $200 Million for the entire 007 franchise, but were turned down by Barbara Brocolli owing to the crontract removing ALL creative controll from EON entertainment and Passing it to Warner Brothers Movie and Warner Brothers Interactive, with Christopher Nolan having officially said "i have no interest in the Bond franchise", it doubtless would have gone to confirmed Classic Bond Fans Paul Dini and Bruce Timm, if this rumour is true, i will personally be devastated as they would have ressurected the franchise with a total reboot to undo the damage of Mizz Cabbages almost THQ style management incompetance.

Fact: THQ had been interested before going bankrupt, THQ rights holders, the german publisher "Deep Silver", have shown no interest in the Bond franchise.

Rumour: Beyond the stated companies, no one else has shown interest in buying the rights from Activision and MGM.

Fact: MGM will not be extending Activision's liscence as Activision will not be publishing any future 007 games as part of a "corporare reshuffling" to help the evil megacorp focuss more on their top selling product (Cry On Doody)

it seems very likely there will be no 007 franchise games in the future, as there will not be time to find a new game publisher before the franchise inevitably crashes.
God Save The Queen.

Wow! That bad, then. I'm not surprised. Babs' pride will eat her alive. That's a big number of rejections and refusals. Well, this confirms Bond is gone for good.

I still have not touched this game. It is the first Bond game to be released that I didn't buy. I'm not interested in playing as Craig's Bond in video game adaptions of another actors films. Hell, I don't want to play as Craig's Bond in an adaption of his own films. Craig in LTK?

Look if it's for the. Anniversary let the player chose their bond or give each bond their story. Craig in all of them I didn't care to buy it. Same reason I gave goldeneye a pass

I did buy GoldenEye: Reloaded. It went some way to me not buying 007 Legends. It was average in every one, and shamelessly Call Of Duty: Bond. I thought the licence had hit rock bottom with Rogue Agent, but Activision found new sub levels of mediocrity.

Honestly, I'd play this before Rouge Agent. That was a shameless forgery only putting GoldenEye in the title to sell more copies.

I actually didn't mind 007 Legends myself. As it is a FPS you never really see Craig anyway. If his voice (isn't actually his btw) bothers you just turn it off with the settings. The biggest beef I had was the other characters looking different. A real shame they didn't use Lois Chiles for Holly Goodhead :(
"Dalton makes an effective Bond - lacking Sean Connery's grace and humor, and Roger Moore's suave self-mockery, but with a lean tension and a toughness that is possibly more contemporary" - Roger Ebert

Turning off the sound doesn't solve the problem of 007 Legends (and all of Activision's FPS Bond games to be fair) looking like the off-cuts of their latest Call Of Duty. If the gamepley looked interesting, I might have bought it. Despite being a Craig era game, Blood Stone did have some really good driving missions (given the pedigree of the publisher, that was a given).

Blood stone was blamed for that gaming division shutting down but it sold about as well as the other bond title that year
