What's the best Roger Moore Bond film? There seems to be a big range of favorites among fans. Mine is The Spy Who Loved Me.

Toss-up between TSWLM and FYEO for me. It's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison really - the former is a big, epic Bond adventure, whereas the latter is more low-key, like a Terence Young film.

Actually, I do like all the Bond movies until Craig comes into the picture! Favourite? I think Octopussy! Anyway, my ideal James Bond is someone (not Craig) and in his 50's!

I've just rectified the situation.

Live and Let Die has some truly memorable scenes and Sir Roger looked totally at ease.

Ahhh the Good Dr - Hope you're keeping well.

The family has expanded in recent years. I'm now the proud Daddy to 2 beautiful girls. Would've liked a boy but there will certainly be no more additions to the Skywalker clan. Don't get much spare time nowadays as you can imagine, but I do try and keep up with the world of Bond.

It was either LALD or FYEO. The rest are pretty much unwatchable.

I've not seen the Blu-ray versions so I'm not sure what changes have been made. On the digitally remastered DVD's, some of the additional CGI usage was an improvement (background scenes) and others were pretty lamentable (Han/Greedo shooting scene).

I like FYEO for the more serious Bond, but LALD for a combination of Moore playing the part with moore or less straight face, and the punchy rhythms of the script, locale, Solitaire, the many villains (Mr Big, Samedi, Tee Hee), the excellent use of the Bond theme, starting with "My name's Bond, James Bond ...." (which pitifully Pierce never got to say with the music). The score by George Martin tops, his into Harlem Bond theme a treat. Moore is lively, the stunts fun -- crocs, the speedboat chase (again with suave music). Guy Hamilton paces it all very well. Yes, I even like Sheriff Culpepper. The sequence with Mr Big having Bond's little pinkie in the clamps of Tee Hee is a classic, with everyone playing it straight with the great music. The one minus : they could have gotten a better actress for the 'Mrs. Bond' part

Kill Bond -- Now!!! :gun:
You move very well for a dead man, Mister Bond

Kill him!
Kill Bond! Now!!!

My eldest (20 mnths) is really advanced for her age. My youngest is just starting to crawl so it's fun watching them devellop.

'What are you..somesort of doomsday machine boy'

I agree with 'Skywalker' here (nice to see you back :) ).........LALD was a magic film. I remember my Dad taking me to see this film while on holiday in 1973..it was a very memorable experience.
