1)From Russia With Love
2) GoldenEye
3)Goldfinger
4)Thunderball
5) Dr.No for the casino scene the iconic beach scene,"You've had your six" and smart banter between Bond and Dr.No. I give it respect for starting it all,I have to say I don't care for the plot much and the movie is a bit slow as well. Still,a solid start

Honorable mention goes to TWINE . IF there wasn't for xmas I would call it a classic. But really...I wanna smack Apted on the head.

And I have to say I find TSWLM overrated. It definitely isn't underrated as you say. The first hour or so goes fast and you don't even notice. The movie although definitely aside FYEO the best Moore one just has too much of a ridiculous plot. But luckily that time it worked.TMWTGG's first plot(about Scaramanga and Bond) was good but they just vasted the potential with a bunch of silly stuff.Plus the villiant in TSWLM wasn't very affective. But I can definitely undertand why people call it Moore's best. It's so memorable. I mean who could forget Jaws?and that car. Triple X is often on the list of the best Bond girls. The pre-title sequence. Come on. A nice twist with Bond killing Triple X's lover. And one of the moments where I really bought Moore as a spy. Now I don't if it's overrated or not anymore.

Most people will probably disagree, but I think the Moore era is very underrated. His films had some of the best action/stunts, villains, music, gadgets, etc. Yes, his films aren't perfect (no Bond film is), and he isn't the most critically acclaimed, but he's one of the most fun and entertaining Bond's to watch for me. He proved that Connery could be successfully replaced, and was able to compete with Connery in the "Battle Of The Bonds". Moore doesn't get enough credit, in my opinion.

Anyway, in regards to the topic, I find both Tomorrow Never Dies and The World Is Not Enough to be just okay. I kind of have a little bit more of a soft spot for The World Is Not Enough, however, because I used to play the Nintendo 64 game a lot.

Moore is the most entertaining Bond, that's a no brainer. And yes, most of his Bond movies don't fall into the top 10 category but they are fun at the very least. Moonraker is A class comedy in my opinion.
Look,as long as you don't take Moore serious as a spy he is totally cool. But as I look Bond who is both convincing as a spy and ladiesman then Moore isn't really a candidate for "THE Bond" title. Also I imagine Bond to be more subtle about his style in a way both Brosnan and Connery were. I mean who could not notice Moore and his clothes and he was all "nudge nudge wink wink" and that's great as long as you don't take Moore seriously. Moore really doesn't say "international man of mystery" to me because he is so aristocratic like. But he's debonair charming playboy with the most elegant clothes so he's totally likeable. And he definitely doesn't deserve the bashing he gets from Craigers. How can anyone not like such a funny man?

I really don't do that list. Why do something negative?Arguably most of Moore movies could be on that list and well...what the hell is with DAF?Haven't watched OHMSS and LTK to be honest. And as much as DAD is preposterous in it's second half the first is not bad...and it has that fencing scene and some good one liners and still some character of Bond. And,you know,it's Brosnan's Bond so...I really don't know. What's your list?

Didn't watch but with Lazenby and the plot with brainwashed women I don't know why some hardcore fans call it to be one of the best Bond movies. All the other could arguably be on this list.Even YOLT which is often called a classic(and arguably you could call it that way since it's the 5th Bond film) but the plot is rather silly, too silly for 60's and well the biggest problem is Connery himself. He obviously has no interest in the whole thing anymore and seems like he is sleepwalking through the film. The Bond babes are totally forgettable(especially the second one,the one he marries) and not convincing as secret agents(but neither was Britt Ekland, nor Tanya Roberts as geologist and well...LOL...Denise Richards...as nuclear...scientist..GAWD.)So forget the last argument. The thing is,maybe this is the movie that get's better with each viewing but when I watched I was seriously disappointed.DAF has way more seriously problems that Connery's performance(and not so good looks anymore).I mean where to start. The whole movie doesn't make sense at all.I didn't watch LALD through the end.It just doesn't do it for me.Everything about the movie is weird. The highlight is that crocodile scene.Of course, the theme song is iconic and Jane Seymour is hands down one of the prettiest Bond girls ever. And she even looked better in 2005 in "Wedding Crashers"(great comedy with fantastic duo Wilson and Vaughn :D )Moore looks great and has totally cool clothes. They way he make his way into Solatier's bed. but that's about it.And that Pepper guy is hands down the stupidest character ever. Now,with AVTAK I didn't watch it through the end as well. But at least I laughed at Tanya Robert the incredibly young geologist who came out of fairytale. :D

Neither. I find them both terrible. TND's only advantages were the Dr. Kaufman scene (how freakin' COOL was that to actually see Vincent Schiavelli of all people as a Bond Villain, and have it work?) and its comparatively simple-to-follow plot, which was only an accident based on the behind-the-scenes turmoil that "simplified" it. But TWINE may actually be worse as it's only sympathy vote for Desmond Llewelyn's farewell scene as the Definitive-Q is quickly tossed into the compost heap with the jarring shift onto Bond watching Elektra's video recounting her "escape" from her captors, with that HORRIBLE moment of Bond "emphatically" touching the video screen as the playback shows her pouring her crocodile tears for all the World to witness her overwrought emotional trauma. Jesus f**king Christ that sucked.

Despite the repeated insistence that removing Denise Richards alone would've salvaged the film, I just don't agree at all. Between Michael Apted's indifferent handling of the action sequences and his apparent enabling of Sophie Marceau's flouncy Drama-Queen antics ("It is MAH oyull! MAHn!! The OYYulll flows threw MAH VaynZZ, thickurr than bludd!"), that puts him on my $#!+ list of Modern One-Shot Directors who contributed to the current movies' heavy-handed melodrama. Richards' just makes an easy scapegoat since she's 1) NOT attractive, 2) CAN'T act, and 3) has NO class and a serious attitude problem. How else to explain how she grates the very first second she butchers a simple line like "I'm going to get some air" and comes off as a total B!+CH?

Basically, TWINE was just another example of their "one-step forward, two-steps back, and one in another dimension" policy that mangled everything up in the long run. With Brosnan's apparent demand that they hire a REAL director after not getting along with Roger Spottiswoode on TND, they partially placated him with Apted based on the man's "drama" credentials. And to atone for the Terri Hatcher blunder (who Brosnan didn't like either), they aimed to fill the supporting cast with REAL actors like Marceau and Robert Carlyle. And then they promptly blew it with the hiring of fanboy kiss-ass hacks Purvis & Wade to pen the script (with only a token nod to Bruce Feirstein to "polish" their dominant work as his "Final Bow"), no-class Denise Richards, and the most boring excuse for a climax on a submarine after only 8 seconds of a "war scene" (Zukovsky and four guys shooting at offscreen bad guys on a SMALL DOCK). What a terrible waste. Of money.
