Best Bond voice?
Which of the 6 Bond actors do you think had the best voice?
1.Sean Connery:
The distintive Connery Scotch voice is now am iconic part of Bond.
2.Roger Moore:
Sir Roger has a great suave accent.
3.Tim Dalton:
Wonderful north of England voice, especially apparent when he says the word nasty.
4.Pierce Brosnan:
The Piercester has every distinctive voice too. His American-Irish voice sounds rather like Angus Macfadyen.
5.George Lazenby:
Has an Aussie flavour (naturally). Sounds a bit like George Baker sometimes too.
6.Daniel Craig:
A mumbling Martin Shaw-esque acting school voice with some cockney tossed in during the comical scenes. Not to my taste.

Moore's voice was the best, naturally. Though Connery was also pretty good too.
Re: Best Bond voice?
I will say Craig's accent tends to be a bit all over the place(for that matter, so does Eva Green's)

Re: Best Bond voice?
Connery & Brosnan for 1st & 2nd,
Moore has a good cultured voice.
Dalton I like but his voice didn't impress me.
Craig thinking about it does have a dull voice. Almost expression less.
Lazenby I haven't seen so he goes last.

Sean Connery seems to be the consensus as far as the best voice goes. Not at all surprising!

Yes COnnery has the voice that made bond an Icon. I like Pierce's and Sir Rogers Voice too. I forgot about Lazenby being dubbed in wasn't he very upset about that when teh mvoie came out?
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

George Baker. Lazenby only found out they did that when he watched the film.Kristatos wrote:1. Sean Connery

Yes, of course. Looking back at the OP, I see Captain Dom made a sly reference to that fact.007 wrote: George Baker. Lazenby only found out they did that when he watched the film.

Re: Best Bond voice?
Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan had the best voices. Craig sounds alright for an undertaker. Seriously there was a television spot for Quantum of Solace I just about missed that it was for a Bond movie because the scenes out of order and they were playing the dialogue from another scene over it. His voice is dull and life less. A guy who might successfully sell a casket but not get a woman in bed. Not one he isn't paying for.

There's an ad for Showtime here in the States that has a clip from QOS in it..
Re: Best Bond voice?
Sean Connery has the best voice and it is the voice I that I associate with James Bond.
