Time for a rant.

No disrespect guys, but I'm starting to get slightly bored with several topic threads. There seems to be an abundance of posts singing the praises of pretty much any actor other than Craig for the role of Bond. I like the majority, like pretty much all the actors mentioned, but what's the point in discussing this over and over again, as unless Bond 22 is crap and fails miserably at the BO, we will have Craig in place for several years. As painful as that sounds to some, the reality, is a sting that is going to last for some time.

I have a few questions to all members.

Why are they so few reviews from members on this site?
Why have certain members on this forum failed to mention their own reasons for their dislike of Craig and CR? (You know who you are)
Why do some members only post on certain threads and not integrate on other threads of similar interest?

If we want this forum to grow, we need to engage minds and look at the reasons why we dislike CR and DC compared to the other Bond films and actors. I don't just mean the 'Who do you prefer' threads as these will produce obvious results, but threads of real depth and interest where peoples opinions can really be put to the test.

To be honest Skywalker I don't think that is too strange. All the other forums went through this. This forum is new so we had to get the Clive Owen, Hugh Jackman, Gerard Butler etc thing out of the way. Discussions about actors like Sam Worthington and Christian Bale are fair game because they are potential Bonds after Craig.

I think everyone is aware that Craig is here for a few films. Most of us on here aren't thrilled by that prospect but I don't think we've denied it.

Of Casino Royale? I'll put up a review if you want. I gave my view on CR on other film forums in november and I'd guess other people did the same in other places. It's difficult to find something new to say.

I think 'not looking the part' and a lack of humor (joyless) have been mentioned in several threads. Maybe a few CR reviews from members would be a good idea.

The problem for me is, we'll still be discussing this in 3 years time! All the actors mentioned would be very good choices indeed, but let's criticise Craig, not over praise someone who hasn't got the job.

I actually think your review would be a good read Kris, as you've got a good view point. Were all bound to repeat ourselves and occassionally contradict ourselves as our opinions may change slightly, but I'm sure you'd get good feedback and it would be good for the forum to have more reviews from us members, as it means more to hear your opinion than that of some unkown person.
