Craig might get a knighthood. Roger and Sean did lots of charity work and were big icons, but Craig does charity work as well of course.

I'm sad the Queen has gone as she was a very big figure. But it had to happen as she is 96.

It's going to be weird seeing his face on a postage stamp or banknote for the first time.

One of the strangest things is that the National Anthem is now "God Save the King".

Remembering their time together, Cr-egg replied: 'Very funny. Very funny. [She] wants to crack a joke, and [she] cracked a joke about me.

'We were having our photographs taken and she (the Queen) just went, "Oh no, he's the one that doesn't smile. Fair enough!"'

Pretty accurate description. In fact, I think I might make it my new sig line.

I've read somewhere that 9 out of 10 people in the world were born after her succession. That's insane.

Former James Bond star George Lazenby has apologized after being accused of making "creepy" and "disgusting" comments in an on-stage interview.
The actor, who played 007 in the 1969 film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, was appearing as part of an Australian tour called The Music of James Bond.
Audience members in Perth took offence at what they described as "homophobic" comments, and explicit anecdotes. Lazenby said he was " saddened to hear" that his stories had offended fans. "It was never my intention to make hurtful or homophobic comments and I am truly sorry if my stories that I have shared many times were taken that way," he wrote in a statement. The 83-year-old Australian actor has been removed from all future performances on the tour.

I wonder what he actually said? It sounds like his comments were inappropriate for a family-oriented event, but nobody seems willing to go into much detail.

Craig Bierko was Lister in the failed pilot for a proposed US version of Red Dwarf.

Bill increases for essentials like energy – on top of every other rising cost – in NYC this winter:
• Residential gas customers will have winter bills about 32% more than last winter.
• Residential NYC electric customers will have winter bills about 22% more.

The Nielsen data for the 2022 Emmys on NBC is in and its not looking good for TV’s biggest night. The awards show was down 25% from last year in total viewers and hit a new record low in ratings. On Monday, the Kenan Thompson-hosted 74th Emmy Awards had a 1.0 rating among adults 18-49, the lowest-ever key demo stat for the Emmys. The previous record low was set by the 2020 show, which aired on ABC, and settled for a 1.3 rating. The following year, the Emmys rebounded to a 1.9. Last night’s show drew 5.9 million total viewers compared with last year’s outing on CBS, which netted 7.9 million. That’s a new low and in stark contrast to the 2021 show, which marked a reversal in the Emmys’ steady decline in audience size.

This story goes into a bit more detail about Lazenby's remarks, featuring a couple of audio clips from a phone-in show where people who were there called in.

Watch Broccoli purge Lazenby from existence and put OHMSS into moth balls in the closet.

I suspect he just won't get any more invites to speak at a family-friendly event.

I watched Becoming Bond last night, and I think I know which anecdotes people are talking about. Whilst they weren't terribly offensive, I can see why people wouldn't want him to repeat them at an event where kids are present.

Just seen the guest list for the Queen's funeral, and BJ will be relieved to hear that Craggy doesn't seem to be on there. It's mostly foreign royalty and heads of state, with some ordinary people who were on the most recent honours list for public service.
