Waltz spoofed the part because he couldn't take it seriously and probably found it beneath him.
Or maybe he was the only one who realized they were making a dour version of Austin Powers and therefore parodied it all.

True but it's still doing better than I thought. After this I expect a precipitous drop

67% is a huge drop off big O. Another 67% and it's done.

2016 is not a good year for films. I hope Fantastic Beasts and Rogue One are not part of this gene pool of not so good rated films.

You don't have to worry about Fantastic Beasts FBF. It will be a winner :!:

I don't expect $1 billion, but as long as it doesn't suffer The Phantom Menace syndrome like The Hobbit (which I do enjoy) did, I'm good.

Anyone ready for yet more chitter chatter and speculation regarding the next Bond? This is from the source who claimed that Steven Knight was writing and Sam Mendes shot Hiddleston's screentest.

I've heard word that Craig is definitely out.

He recently had the final offer made to him and he turned it down. I hear relations are pretty rocky as EON thought he'd come back. Subsequently, the Othella run in New York (which Broccoli is producing) has been cut drastically short.

A handful of actors have read for the role; including Jack Huston and Jamie Bell. No one has formally screentested aside Hiddleston earlier in the year.

However, I hear Broccoli wants Michael Fassbender. They've met and once the studio deal is closed (it'll be Sony), Fassbender will sign on. I hear he has first refusal on a director.

He was very James Bond in Inglorious Basterds but the problem I see with Fassbender is that he'd only have a couple of films in him before people started muttering about him looking old.

If Barbara likes Fassbender so much she should have hired him instead of Craig.

True. I don't know how correct any of this . Sony distributing again would be bigger surprise than slash my wrists Craig coming back.

I though fessbender was very bond in fist class

When I first saw your post I thought "what Scottish people have been robbed in Rio?". Then I remembered the swimmers. :D
