He looked like hell in SP. one of the story links yesterday showed freeze frame from the movie, he looked like s**t. That's in movie makeup and with all the "magic "they can pull.
He's a weird character actor who's odd looks some people want interpret as being part his acting instead of the unfortunate happenstance of his face.

Weirdly he looked like fat chandler from friends in that puppy hostage video from earlier with year. So that plays into his "fuller figure".
I don't get the feeling from him he's gearing up for Bond but who the hell knows with babs making excuses for everything he's done.

With Dunkirk about to release this June, Christopher Nolan's schedule is open and he could direct the movie, were the opportunity to arise. We'll have to see how this all shakes out, but this may be the most interesting Bond rumor to come around in a while. Right now there are quite a few rumors and little bits of news floating around in regards to James Bond 25. So much so that, even if many of them aren't true, or are only partially true, it seems like things are coming together behind-the-scenes and that we will be finding out some more concrete details about 007's next adventure pretty soon. And if one of these rumors turns out to be true, it looks like none other than Christopher Nolan could be the man directing James Bond 25............FBF will have a fit if this occurs :!: :hair:

He will. I don't see Nolan taking Craig's fifth act, he has a vision of bond and we've seen parts of it in his movies, he'd rather do a real bond begins than pick up the 4 film crap trail left be Craig. But this is all on IMDb as a source.

Aidan Turner James Bond: 'Poldark' Season 3 Star Possibly Meeting With 007 Producers, Daniel Craig Leaving For Good? :!: It looks like Aidan Turner should be getting ready for a new role. The "Poldark" Season 3 actor has reportedly been meeting with James Bond producers     :happy spin: :happy spin: on the possibility of replacing Daniel Craig as 007. Does this mean that Craig has ultimately decided to leave the iconic role behind? Will Turner star as the British spy in "James Bond 25"? Is it possible that "James Bond 25" producers have listened to what thousands of fans have been saying for a long time? Has Turner been called in for a meeting to become James Bond? According to Newsweek, Aidan Turner flew out to Los Angeles for a meeting with long-time James Bond producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli.        Although it was unclear whether the "Poldark" Season 3 star was called in to discuss the possibility of being the next 007, fans have been supporting Turner in hopes he will replace Daniel Craig in "James Bond 25". The "Hobbit" actor's odds have steadily been getting better in the past week...............Nolan and Turner? Oh baby, let the pigeons loose :!: :!: FBF, get ready :!: :!:

Is this a new meeting?
Last time he was flown out to meet studio people, bond executives are supposed to be based in the U.K. . If it's a new meeting than it's interesting news

Several reports stated that James Bond producer Barbara Broccoli noticed the television hunk when he appeared in BBC1’s And Then There Were None. http://www.hofmag.com/poldark-star-aida ... ers/219154

It almost too good to be true. So I'm not going to believe it until the new Bond is announced.

It's difficult to get the true facts with all of these media outlets but this one is from 2 days ago :!: According to NewsWeek, a source informed that preliminary talks regarding the role had already taken place between Turner and the Bond producers. The source also stressed that his visit to Los Angeles may give him "another chance to discuss the role." Poldark producer Thrussell said that Turner had visited Los Angeles in March, and she believed that it has nothing to do with the role of James Bond. “I am sure it is nothing to do with James Bond, "but we will see,” she said.

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

One place had Newsweek as a source, Newsweek has the sun as their source. All from last year. I can't find a new story about him flying to met with producers.
One place say met with producers but never said where or when, other story say his odds were slashed???
I like turner to be bond so I until something concrete comes it I will not spike the football

This seems like a good round up

This story is funny, hope they get a class action so I can get in on it

It sounds like an old story recycled. I hope it’s true, but I'm not holding my breath.

The monsanto law suit is curious because it exposes the industry practice of hiring trolls to police the internet for them. Hollywood does it and Hillary did it too, so it seems common practice.
I don't mind some a' hole disagreeing with me but it bugs the hell out of me to have them being part of a paid army to manipulate public sentiment.
