Image Anthony Horowitz returns with Forever and a Day, the explosive prequel to Ian Fleming’s Casino Royale:

M laid down his pipe and stared at it tetchily. “We have no choice. We’re just going to bring forward this other chap you’ve been preparing. But you didn’t tell me his name.”

“It’s Bond, sir,” the Chief of Staff replied.

“James Bond.” ------------------------------- 1. '007 is dead'. Towards the beginning of the novel British secret agent 007 is found floating in the waters of Marseilles, killed by an unknown hand. It’s time for a new agent to step up.

2. Forever and a Day is a prequel to Casino Royale, the first of Ian Fleming’s James Bond novels.
3. The novel follows Bond as he earns his licence to kill and explores the origin story of Fleming’s iconic character.

4. It’s classic Bond, featuring appearances from familiar faces such as M and Miss Moneypenny.

5. Anthony Horowitz is the only author to have woven his stories within the same timeline as Ian Fleming. His first 007 novel Trigger Mortis published in 2015, followed on from Bond’s run-in with Goldfinger.

6. The book also includes previously unpublished material by original James Bond author and creator Ian Fleming.

7. Forever and a Day will be published on 31 May 2018 – in the week of what would have been Fleming’s 110th birthday.

I just watched Batman v Superman for the first time, since it debuted on regular cable tv tonight on the TNT channel. My opinion is quite simple: :hair:. Zack Snyder turned a patriotic Superman into a hated figure :!: :cuss: The only time he was honored was when he died :!: :cuss: Snyder also placed the ultra liberals Charlie "the louse" Rose, Senator Pat "the hack" Leahy, and CNN talking head Anderson "the loser" Cooper in the film as well :!: It's a sick commentary about Hollywood's mindset to defile the reputation of the most iconic superhero ever created :!: Superman stands for three things: truth, justice, and the American way, but not in this era of anti-American Hollywood film making :!: The only redeeming part of this film was Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot is so perfectly cast in her role :!: As I predicted, and just confirmed to myself by watching this trash, Jesse Eisenberg is a hack actor who belongs in an amusement park selling tickets to patrons. His acting skills rate with Ryan Reynolds, with both being utterly pathetic. This film was pure dread to watch.............pure dread :!:

It's quite common for news anchors to play themselves in movies. It gives it an added sense of veracity, supposedly. Zack Snyder has revealed that his next movie is to be an adaptation of Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead. When BvS came out, reviewers said that Snyder utterly failed to understand the heroic ethic. If he's a Randroid, then no wonder. Rand was a malignant narcissist who wrote a book entitled The Virtue of Selfishness and regarded altruism as a sin. Screenwriter John Rogers famously said that “There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and [Rand's] Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs."

If that's his background he never should have been allowed anywhere near a Superman film.

Or Watchmen. He probably thought that Rorschach was the hero.

Image Daniel Craig's final film for his career, after Bond 25, should be the George 'the animal' Steele biopic, as he already has the looks to play Georgie :!:

Gallup poll now, and Hollywood just does not get it, nor do liberals here: More Than Three in Four Americans Say U.S. Moral Values Are "Getting Worse" :!:

When asked whether U.S. moral values are getting better or worse, Americans have consistently said they are worsening, and that remains the case today. Currently, "77%" say moral values in the U.S. are getting worse, while only 18% say they are getting better :!: -------case closed :!:

"Moral values" is a pretty vague term. Does the poll differentiate between those who say they're getting worse because gays can get married now, and those who say they're getting worse because ICE are tearing children away from their mothers? Of course, it's possible to oppose both or neither, but it tends to be one or the other.

The Wrap confirms Kilmer will once again play his iconic sort-of-villain character Tom “Iceman” Kazansky in Top Gun: Maverick............ICE tearing children away from their mothers? Illegals that kill Americans are tearing families apart but the liberals NEVER even mention that :!: Once someone comes into a country ILLEGALLY, they own their fate :!: Gallup:Samples are weighted to correct for unequal selection probability, non-response, and double coverage of landline and cell users in the two sampling frames. They are also weighted to match the national demographics of gender, age, race, Hispanic ethnicity, education, region, population density, and phone status (cell phone- only/landline only/both and cell phone mostly). Demographic weighting targets are based on the March 2017 Current Population Survey figures for the aged 18 and older U.S. population.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, Helena Bonham Carter is now said to be the front runner for the villain role, although many others think that Angelina Jolie is the top choice.

Said by whom? What others? Those sort of weasel words are a big red flag as far as I'm concerned, as is dredging up Jolie's name yet again. Bottom-Carter is a bit more plausible, but this still falls into the category of unsubstantiated rumour at this stage.

The only one playing the same character, anyway. Maud Adams was in two, but playing different characters.
