NTTD has earned only $150 million domestically, which puts it near the bottom in terms of “tickets sold” for the James Bond franchise. That also places the 25th James Bond movie into an accidental piece of box office history. No Time to Die has the lowest domestic gross of any film that still topped $700 million worldwide........the USA has spoken.

Unfortunately, it's still being spun as a huge success, despite bring the first Bond film to lose money. And I doubt Universal or Amazon much care where the money comes from. $700 million is $700 million, as far as they're concerned.

BJ will be happy about this, I know he's a big fan Image

(Seriously, though, it's pretty obvious to me that Reynolds was joking, though the story seems to take him at face value.)

Reynolds is just like Cr-egg. Neither has any acting talent yet both fell into a role that earned them millions :!:--------NTTD is estimated to drop to 7th place in USA this weekend as its run here is almost over.

In 2002 DAD did $160,942,139 here by comparison, and that was "19 years ago"! The rest of the planet must enjoy seeing this worm for some unknown reason, but the USA has had enough of him.

I wish my country had as much good sense, but I fear that we* would go and watch a trained chimp if you put it in a tuxedo and called it James Bond.

I'm confused, isn't that what we've been watching the past decade and a half?

No, but it's an easy mistake to make. One way to tell them apart: chimps generally don't demand a producer credit.

LOL, very true Kris! They also work for bananas, rather than a quarter of the budget.

It's been around a while, but I've just found out about this rather wonderful YouTube channel called Every James Bond. It breaks down all the Bond films into their component parts (Every Q Scene, Every Secret Phrase, Every Daring Escape and so on). A useful tool for analyzing the Bond formula. It does include the Craig films, but the clips are usually presented in chronological order, so you can stop as soon as you get to CR: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC6OiVI ... FgfgM2RVlg

There was a time when I would have deleted such wingnuttery immediately. Now I'm inclined to let it stand, and hope that nobody dies as a result. I do, however, invite you to consider the source: https://www.mediamatters.org/gateway-pu ... n-internet

Dying Kris? I personally know someone who died 1 week after taking his first vaccine and dropped dead in his car with his wife watching him. The autopsy stated a "heart arrhythmia" as the cause to his wife, which she suspects was related to the first vaccine dose. I also knew someone else who died of the Covid virus. Nobody, including YOU, has ANY idea of the long term effects of these vaccines. There are treatments that are being ignored not related to the vaccine jabs. Media Matters is your required daily reading source? Really? George Soros must be your kind of guy too, as he donated $1 million to them in 2010. Fauci is a liar who must be fired once and for all, yet the left-wing media keeps plastering this clown on their television shows. The medical profession is no longer immune from political activism at the expense of the general public.---------"George Soros, a philanthropist of the highest integrity, unfortunately knows first-hand what it's like to be grotesquely caricatured and flatly lied about on Fox," said Media Matters founder and CEO David Brock. "Media Matters is grateful that he has decided to lend his voice and support our goal of greater journalistic accuracy and accountability."........talk about a "cult" perspective :!:

I don’t usually get into these discussions BUT..I was talking to a friend of mine and she had a family member who had a VERY bad reaction to the shot. The supposed culprit? The family member had a slight fever. And they DO tell you not to get the shot when you’re sick. They’re going to be OK.. but it’s gonna take a while to come back.

I know that for Trumpians, George Soros is the big, bad bogeyman the mere mention of whose name is considered enough to shut down discussion. Since I am not of your religion, I simply ask "so what?" It doesn't change the fact that Jim Hoft, aka the Gateway Pundit, has no training in journalism and never fact-checks his sources. He is the prime exponent of truthiness, the idea that "it doesn't matter whether something is true, as long as it feels true", ie matches the dogmas of the Trumpian faith.

Correct MP. NOBODY has a clue of the long term effects and everyone reacts differently to this. I hope this scourge of the planet self destructs itself sooner rather than later so we can go back to a semblance of normalcy once again.

You trust David Brock???? :hair: Religion has to do with spiritual beliefs, not politics. I can tell you that the MAJORITY of Americans have remorse about what happened the last election after seeing first hand how LEFT-WING LIBERALISM DESTROYS SOCIETIES that they infect :!: From crime on the rise as well as inflation, people have had it, and come next November there will be a reckoning at the polls here :!: Truthiness, as you put it, occurs daily on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, and NBC, as well as FOX. This country was in better shape in 2020 than it is now, 'no bout a doubt it', and more people have died here in 2021, even with a vaccine, than died in 2020, even with the Democrat in the Oval office now, who vowed to fix it.......a question for you. For 4 years the left-wing media knowingly LIED about Trump and Russia collusion. Do you still believe that happened or have you FINALLY seen the light? How can you trust ANY media outlet now after they have been exposed as frauds?
