Yeah, not difficult, though one of them was cheating slightly. It was a real title, but of an Austin Powers film, not a Bond film.bjmdds wrote: ↑Wed Aug 24, 2022 6:13 pm All here should ace this test easily: https://www.metv.com/quiz/are-these-rea ... ke-them-up

James Bond is getting a brand new Casino Royale adaptation on theatre stages in Spring 2023. The new production - "Casino Royale - My Name Is Bond" - is based on Ian Fleming's original literary work, and will employ an entirely female cast. The cast are the Takarazuka Revue, an all-female theatre troupe that was established in 1913. As is tradition, women play every role.

I keep getting a tweet about the places you should see on Lake Como and Villa Balbianello(which was in CR) is always mentioned. Problem is(lol) guess what place went to the top of of my travel bucket list? I have no problem going to Italy again-I’ve been there twice and would go again!

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
We watched Samaritan the new Sylvester Stallone film, only bring this up here because it’s the first mgm leftover to be Amazon prime premier. At least I think it is.
Anyway the feel the film is that is either unfinished or edited or incomplete somehow. It’s a cheap film done pretty well, decent story, the edit makes it feel like we’re missing scenes.
Most may never notice the point we’re it seems the story should branch off.
Sylvester Stallone is actually a fairly competent filmmaker I’d be surprised if he turned out such a half assed product
Makes me wonder how Amazon is going to proceed with bond, this may be a one off, or maybe Amazon is going to be like if you’ve got 104 minutes on content roll credits.
Btw last time WB was in the bond business it was never say never again.

Going to add samaritan was a Covid film. I wouldn’t doubt the kid aged out of the screens already previously shot, might be why it was disjointed at times

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I finally saw the Elvis film. The music was great and Butler was fine as Elvis, but this was more of a Colonel Tom Parker retrospective on his life with Elvis. The director Luhrmann added scenes that never happened, which is not right for a biopic film. Overall, it was OK but a long 2 hours and 39 minutes was spent seated watching it.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I still haven't seen it, but it's quite common for biopics to use dramatic license in telling their story. I can't remember if I mentioned it on here, but I recently watched the biopic of Tolkien starring Nicholas Hoult. It was fairly faithful to the events of his life, bar the odd invented detail, but boy was it dull. Without any clear idea of what story they were telling, it ended up being just a bunch of stuff that happened.bjmdds wrote:I finally saw the Elvis film. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
When I read on the internet who the next Bond should be I see such a lack of regard from these young editors to tradition. Most ONLY want a person of color and many think a female Bond is fine as well. First of all, a female James Bond is impossible unless they believe in "woke" lunacy, where there is no difference between the sexes. Sorry to inform these morons but there is-----GENETICALLY. Secondly, Fleming wrote a SPECIFIC race for the Bond character which these 'wokesters' on line could care less about. It is a sorry state of affairs that the 62 year old Broccoli thinks she must cater to these psychologically disturbed younger people. Will we even wind up with a human as Bond, or will she pick a robot to play Bond and not have to pay him? This GIF sums up Cr-egg's tenure perfectly:

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
To be fair, even Babbzy has ruled out the idea of a female James Bond. But as I've said before, I'm now at the stage where I think almost anybody would be better than Craig. I mean, I'm not in *favour* of rewriting Bond's entire family history, but given a straight choice between a handsome, charming actor of colour or another blond Aryan thug like Craig, I'm starting to think that a Rege-Jean Page or a Henry Golding might be the lesser of the two evils.
This is all hypothetical, though, because those aren't the only two choices. Henry Cavill is my first choice now that Aidan Turner seems to have ruled himself out. It's ironic that having been turned down for Casino Royale for being too young, he may now be turned down for being too old!

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
That is not a choice to give in to. Maybe that is what they want, being to surrender to lunacy to avoid another Cr-egg. There are excellent choices out there that are never mentioned online by these "wokesters" being guided by delusion.

I'm inclined to agree, I'm not opposed to a non white actor taking the role provided we get some good old fashioned Bond. The problem is I don't see that happening, they can't just have a black actor play Bond, knowing EON and the film industry at large, he'll have to be "Black Bond" monologuing about the inequities of society ironically while sipping fine Bollinger champagne in a Swiss chateau.Kristatos wrote: ↑Thu Sep 01, 2022 7:11 pm To be fair, even Babbzy has ruled out the idea of a female James Bond. That was just in the summer when I visited my grandma, I'm really from the mean moors of Scotland, forced to grow up in a large castle on a massive estate complete with grounds keeper, the hard knock life son!Kristatos wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 7:01 am"You don't know what it's like to grow up in the hood!*"dirtybenny wrote: I'm inclined to agree, I'm not opposed to a non white actor taking the role provided we get some good old fashioned Bond. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Queen Elizabeth is gone and King Charles will take over. How are the United Kingdom posters here handling this and what does England's future hold in your collective opinions? Do you think Cr-egg gets an invite to the lavish funeral? They had better NEVER make it SIR Daniel Cr-egg, like they did with Connery and Moore.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
He might get an invite to the funeral because of that Olympics skit. Or he might not. We'll soon find out, I suppose.
