Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Sure! This is the perfect male to be the 7th 007......NOT! He looks like he is married to his mother who is 24 years older than him. I can just see the red carpet scene posing with his "motherly wife" for his first Bond film. Get out of here. Useless!Kristatos wrote: ↑Tue Nov 29, 2022 1:55 pm Another story about the Aaron Taylor-Johnson rumour, which I'm posting because I think he looks a little bit like George Lazenby in the accompanying photo:

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Brosnan's 2nd wife had nothing to do with his Bond career over 7 years. This Aaron guy looks like a child compared to his wife. Broccoli and his wife have similar lusts it seems so the vegetable might rob the cradle here.

Babs hasn’t been rational for a LONG time

That's the point, though. I wouldn't previously have thought of him as Bond material, but that picture made me think that actually, he might be good. And if he is, then he could be married to a goat for all I care.kater23 wrote:When he cleans up, like the picture that Kris posted ,I can see it. But other than that,no.He looks like a boy toy.

Yes, but he’s not always in cleaned up mode. And when he’s NOT, he looks like he’s going to a Mommy and Me class with his wife. She is the textbook definition of a cougar.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
He is more suited to play Jimmy Olsen than Bond. You cannot show up to a Bond premiere and have your motherly wife walking arm and arm with you. It is not a good look for a Bond actor. He is 32......she is 56.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I was going on the assumption that he would be in cleaned-up mode when he's playing Bond. I don't much care about what happens offscreen, or even in other movies. Would you judge Connery's Bond based on his wife-beating? Or a still of him in Zardoz?

Babs likes boy toys.with Aaron we would not getting a “big school” Bond..more like kindergarten.

She's said that they're looking for someone around that age, to stay in the role for 10-15 years. So whoever they pick is going to look youthful to begin with, but will hopefully mature into the role.kater23 wrote:Babs likes boy toys.with Aaron we would not getting a “big school” Bond..more like kindergarten.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
No offense, and don’t ban me, but..you are LITERALLY the only person who thinks he would be a good Bond.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
I don't know whether he would be a good Bond or not. All I'm saying is that whilst I wouldn't previously have thought of him as a contender, that one photo has made me think that he *might* *possibly* have potential. As I have said repeatedly, I think Craig has set the bar so low that almost anybody would be an improvement. I'll be satisfied with a Bond film where the actor looks vaguely like Bond, and which is fun to watch, without the self-importance of the Craig era. I don't think that's a lot to ask.kater23 wrote:No offense, and don’t ban me, but..you are LITERALLY the only person who thinks he would be a good Bond.
Edit: and I reiterate, I think the fact that he's married to a much older woman is utterly irrelevant to whether he would make a good Bond or not.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Nobody will ban MP. To be Bond you need to be an ambassador at the worldwide public premieres. Seeing him with a woman almost twice his age arm and arm at premieres would NOT be a plus to the promotion of the film. It would look like he needed an adult to accompany him into an R rated film.Kristatos wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 4:10 pmI don't know whether he would be a good Bond or not.
