Rami Malek is in final negotiations to play the villain opposite Daniel Craig in writer-director Cary Joji Fukunaga‘s Bond 25, well-placed sources tell Collider. There is no deal quite yet, but one is expected to be made — the sides just wanted to wait and see whether Malek would win the Oscar, which would, of course, raise his quote.--------------Variety reports that Eon is on the lookout for three more major roles: including two female leads, one of whom is a fellow MI6 agent and the other an “accomplice” for Mr. Bond (if that sounds an awful lot like the basic setup for the female leads of Quantum of Solace… that’s because it is), as well as a role for an American CIA agent who will become 007’s contact. The trade reports Billy Magnussen is the top choice for the CIA agent, however it is unknown whether an offer has been made. http://collider.com/rami-malek-bond-25-villain/#images https://www.denofgeek.com/us/movies/jam ... -key-roles

Not sure he'd like being called British, though.

True enough, even though he gets mistaken for being British quite often.

RIP Andrew Preview. I was going to post the YouTube video of his classic Morecambe & Wise sketch, but the BBC has rather mean-spiritedly blocked it.

Yes, that's it. They took it off YouTube. It was easily available on there before.

Edit: the original sketch was much longer, about 10 minutes. This was only an extract.

It is here - but the BBC will probably have it taken down.

James Bond 25 title is NOT Shatterhand confirms Barbara Broccoli. An autograph hunter caught Broccoli in London and asked her to sign a fan-created Shatterhand logo. In the picture shared online, Broccoli clearly wrote, “It’s not” with an arrow pointed at the title.

I saw that story on my Chrome homepage, but when I went to try and find it again, it had disappeared. Ditto a story saying that the reason Danny Boyle quit was because they wouldn't let him kill off Craig's faux Bond in order to pave the way for the return of the genuine article.

The UK Film Distributors’ Association has Bond 25 listed as Friday, April 3. That’s five days before the rest of the world.

I don’t like the odds ;) these clowns don’t even have a finished story or idea where to go next. My gut feeling is after Boyle backed out they had no plan b, other than commitments made to mgm and possibly contracts signed with Craig and other principle actors and crew.

Let’s see if some new disaster doesn’t suddenly shock the production. Script trouble, location scouting, pre production trouble, actors or locations pulling out, something is going to rock the boat before they really get going. If this isn’t some elaborate insurance scam to cover production cost and mgms ass.

Odds film is pushed back AGAIN to November 2020? Image Image Autograph hunter India Grace managed to catch Barbara Broccoli in London and asked her to sign a fan-created 'Shatterhand' Bond 25 title treatment.

Somebody on another forum pointed out that Star Wars will have released an entire trilogy between Spectre and Shatterhand (or whatever it ends up being called).

Well, as far as I'm concerned there's absolutely no point in making another Craig feature now. 5 years between SP and the next one. Who on earth cares enough to see Craig one more time? He will just look even worse and sleepwalk even more than last time.
