BJ, with all due respect, I wish you would include a link to the articles you're quoting, it would greatly reduce the amount of confusion generated when you just post quotes and snippets. All you need to do is cut and paste the address at the bottom of your post. I for one would very much appreciate it, thank you.

Thanks BJ, really cleared things up for me!

Rumor has it the new cast member will be playing Bond's cousin's, friend's, sister's, uncle by marriage thus deepening the emotional impact of the character.

Yeah those kind of awards are bought and paid for, I’m guessing out of bond 25 production budget

As I think I've said before, the Express is not a trustworthy source - a clickbait website trading on the name of a once-respectable newspaper.

Not quite. Black Panther won two awards, for Best Ensemble Cast and Best Stunt Performances. There was no Best Picture award, as the SAG Awards are purely focused on acting (and stunts, apparently).

I think every "award" is bought and paid for these days O.

My brother's, friend's, cousin's, mailman knows a guy, who knows a guy, who knows an EON intern so I pretty much have the inside info!

Get a load of this gang :!: -------EON and Blake Lively's The Rhythm Section has moved back exactly nine months, :hair: from a February 22 to November 22 release date. The film is based on the novel by Mark Burnell (who also wrote the script) and is designed to serve as the beginning of a potential franchise for its star. However, it's been obvious for a while now that the movie would end up being delayed, given the absence of a trailer :hair: or marketing of any kind. :hair: Not to mention, Rhythm Section's production was delayed for several months last year, after Lively suffered an injury during filming. According to Variety, Rhythm Section will now hit U.S. theaters nationwide on November 22, rather than February 22. The change positions Lively's action-thriller as counter-programming to Disney's animated sequel Frozen 2, which will be targeting the family demographic over the Thanksgiving holiday frame, following its opening that same Friday.----------Broccoli is so unprepared to be in the film industry. Just another example of her ineptness. :Bonk: https://screenrant.com/blake-lively-rhy ... ease-date/

I’m going call BS on this. These kind of names are always “leaked” to build up interest but they never get the names they say are in “talks” at this point in production. With rhythm section being pushed back again I wonder if babs has lost interest in really making any kind of movie anymore.

The play book eon is using right now is very tired. They are cutting and pasting all of their pr and the cutouts in the media are phone it in big time.

Now if they announce bond 25 is scrubbed and Nolan is rebranding the franchise for his take on bond with a new cast the excitement of the fan base and audience would be real

Provided it was an actual announcement, and not just a report from anonymous sources in the Express.

Yes it would have to be a legitimate announcement from eon and Nolan to hold any value.

I don’t know of anybody in my movie fan circles who cares about another Craig movie, which seems to support the movie surveys with audiences more excited about bond 26 and recasting than wanting teasers about bond 25. I don’t think recycled talking points at this point help prime the audience. It seems like the crew at EON who gave a d**n about promoting and making movies gave up and are waiting their turn at control. No evidence for this other than the feeling if you were to call eon HQ you’d be sent to a answering machine (not voice mail) with prerecorded message from 2007. A creepy couples recording at that.
“This is Babs!
And Dan!
(Laughter)
We can’t come to the phone right now. We are busy planning Casino Royal part 2 which we will be filming in a couple of months for release this November 2007. The year of 007. Be sure to leave us a message.
(I love you)
(No I love you more)
(Oh we didn’t turn the recorded off, I’m such a silly bride) “
Recording ends

it’s not about making a bond movie for babs it’s about Craig coming back. It for 40 years it was about making movies about bond, for one movie in 2006 is was supposed to be bond begins, then eon stoped moving the ball at all, skyfall was supposed to bring it all around to bond being bond finally with a final scene that could be construed by fan boys as this is before Dr No and we are back on track. But they never got beyond Craig trying to be some rough cut of bond before being polished. They still are at the starting line 14 years later
