Army warns of shootings at Joker screenings. That could become a self-fulfilling prophecy. If you're planning to buy popcorn, don't blow the empty bag up and then pop it, lest you set off a hundred panicky moviegoers with open carry licences.

ImageLea Seydoux appears upset as she films for James Bond - No Time To Die in Southern Italy. Director Cary Fukunaga had to take the French actress aside to console her as she clutched a tissue. The scene which could be a spoiler for fans featured a gun-wielding agent played by British actress Lashana Lynch looking after a mystery young child. Meanwhile Lea's character had an intense chat on a walkie talkie.----------Bond now a daddy in this morass? First a step-brother, now a daddy possibly :?: :!: What the hell is going on around here :?: :!:

Didn't they already reject that idea in a previous film?

Best not to jump to conclusions. Just because a kid appears in a shot, it doesn't automatically make it James Suzuki.

I thought that was supposed to be a flashback to Madeleine Swann's childhood.

yes they did, but who said it was? If they steal from November man with bond I mean a spy happily retired watching after the couples kid, then the chase would have more sock value to have a little girl say the name is bond and a woman of color respond to come in 007 in the early opening scenes. It is Hollywood logic.

Of course Tracy bond lost a child before she met James , so who knows how faithful they want to be. Could be neo tracy has the radio listing to what she believes is bond dying.
But if eon drags this out by having “bond” retired for a number of years it would be possible.

I prefer to wait until the film is out, or at least until I hear a statement direct from the official 007 Facebook page or Twitter account saying explicitly that the kid is Bond's, before getting my pitchfork out. As BJ said, it was a terrible idea in Superman Returns, and I hope they don't copy it for NTTD, but the evidence at the moment is flimsy.

Evidence is none existent. Eon is lazy, Craig is a hack, the writers are hacks, not hard to imagine they take the emo drama way.

I’m not horrified or shock no matter what they do. This hasn’t been bond to me. And I’d bet a lot of other people who are casual movie fans.
Somewhere I drew the line and separated Craig from Ian Fleming’s bond and cubby’s bond.

Yes it was , screen writer Paul Haggis was going to have Craig traipse across the globe looking for Vesper's daughter, in what I can only assume would have been titled: Casino Royale 2 The Search For [s]Spock[/s] Vesper Jr. The rewrite of this corny story is why a script wasn't ready come the infamous writer's strike during filming of QOS.

Phoebe Waller-Bridge is reportedly being courted to write James Bond 26, following her efforts as a cowriter on next year's No Time to Die. The news arrives hot on the heels of her multiple Emmy victories - including, Comedy Series, Lead Actress, and Writing - this past Sunday for the second season of Fleabag (the widely-acclaimed show based on her one-woman stage play of the same name). The further emasculation of the franchise by Broccoli :!: All I am seeing emphasis on now are things not related to Bond himself, be it a female black 007 and now a woman writing a script about Bond :!: Fleming would go berserk over what Broccoli has done to his iconic literary character, and I for one have NO expectations of seeing this situation improve, given this overindulgence of feminine influence to a franchise where men are the primary viewership driving its box office :!: What's next, Cr-egg's Bond in Bond 26 at age 55 changing diapers with a walther ppk by the crib :?: :!: :hair: The Bond franchise is sick, and getting sicker by the film :!: Image

I don't think Fleming would have objected to a woman writer, particularly a multi-award winning one. He craved the approval of his wife and her literary friends, and was genuinely hurt when she turned down his offer to dedicate Casino Royale to her, saying "Surely, Ian, it's not the sort of book one dedicates to anyone?" And I've not heard of him objecting to Johanna Harwood.

Yes nothing wrong with having a woman writer. What's wrong is turning the Bond movies into a melodramatic soap opera about family life. What's next? Bond the reality TV show? Bond the talk show?

I agree Fleming wouldn't have an objection to a female writer on the face of it, but I believe he would object to Bridge in the same way he would object to the other writers/directors brought in by Babz et al who kneel at the leftist, socialist, communist alter, such as Haggis, Foster, Mendez, Purvis, Wade and the Craiggy one himself amongst others.

That said it's still very early, this film hasn't been released yet, sure Babz may be courting Bridge for the next one, especially if she thinks it could woo Craig back for yet another film. However, if it bombs, which it appears it just may do, I'm sure Bridge and the gang will be jettisoned faster than a Goldfinger guard from a DB5 passenger seat.

I don’t think Fleming would like much of this current era of bond. He never wanted bond to be about a personal drama. Brofeld and the rest of the mommy M skyfall stuff would have pissed him off big time.

I not sure another agent 007 would be ok with him, seems the agent was the number working up the jobs with different department designations. Double oh was a job, 7 was bond.

Throw potentially either bonds kid or his wife’s kid, I think Fleming would be plenty pissed.

Bond franchise has some great women writers who never were acknowledged, while P&W can’t be removed and celebrity writers are brought in to punch up scripts all to great acclaim.
If babs thinks she can make 007 movies with out Ian Fleming’s James Bond, I think she’s very much mistaken. But what do I know she’s made whatever the hell Craig is playing at and called it bond, nobody has seemed to notice or cared.
When the nostalgia for bondmania finally expires it’s going to be a huge mess at eon.
If babs has two movies flop in a row months of each other it’ll be her career. If she at least pull off making money with this last Craig movie then she’ll save her reputation but watering down the bond brand even more I think is a problem or at least it should be.

I saw Rambo last night with others. "Chop-chop-chop" is how I would define it. The ending should have been different for a major character. It was like watching Superman IV with Reeve going through the motions.-------------Wkiipedia:Rambo: Last Blood was theatrically released in the United States on September 20, 2019, by Lionsgate. Critics gave the film negative reviews, which decried the script, graphic violence, and what they perceived as racist and xenophobic attitudes toward Mexico.-----predictable reviews from left-wingers.........Jack sums it up best :!:
