OK, this doesn't exactly make me Nostradamus, but it looks like my prediction about new movies being released on a pay-per-view basis is coming true. Disney will be releasing their live-action Mulan remake on Disney+ and charging £22/$30 to watch it. That's more than the price of a cinema ticket. I can't imagine many people paying that. In normal times, you could perhaps have some friends round for a watch party and ask them to contribute something towards the cost. But these are not normal times.

Well I think it’s going to be the future wave. Date and day release. I dunno about rent but I’d pay to own on the day or release. Up to $50-60

They tried something like that with if you buy a ticket they would try to presell you the movie on Blu-ray and digital . Never took off mostly because it was at a bad price point, nobody bundled it to make sense to the consumer

Well, this is a turnip for the books. A survey for RadioTimes.com to find the favourite Bond actor has yielded the following results:

1. Connery
2. Dalton
3. Brosnan

The remaining three actors were not ranked, which is a shame, as it denies us the pleasure of seeing who came last. It sounds like Moore was only narrowly knocked out, though, so it's probably safe to consider him fourth, with Craig and Lazenby vying for the bottom position. A rare example of a survey exactly matching my personal Bond rankings.

Voted on by more than 14,000 Bond fans, Craig was first up in the tumultuous commencing round. Craig went up against Sean Connery, who secured 56 per cent of the vote, knocking Craig out in the first run. While this is certainly a shock, it all eventually made sense, as Connery continued to trounce every other Bond actor he was pitted against. Broccoli won't be happy :!:  Cr-egg looks quite mad at Connery :!: Image

I’m not shocked by the results, actually I am surprised Dalton was in the top three. But I’m not shocked Craig is not in the top ranks.
A lot of the bond actors top rankings and spontaneous best dress and sexiest whatever awards are from EON and the studios or budget. I don’t think they are spending money right now and may not waste money on pr this time around.

This does put Babs belief that Craig is the definitive Bond in to question. I don’t think Connery was ever bested by any of his replacements which is how the audience see them. I think generations of fans have their favorites, like dalton and brosnan, imho for fans overall nobody replaces the original 5 movies with Connery. According to modern PC theory those movies should be the most hated

Yeah, that's refreshing to see. Back in the day I'm sure Moore would've been higher and Dalton probably not as popular. Shows how times have changed. I don't mind though. Those three and Moore are all great as far as I'm concerned.

Hello again chaps and chapesses, by the way

Acid is back :!: Spread the word to Broccoli that Acid is back :!: New Cr-egg doll will be released soon: The collection of figures, which will also be released in November to tie in with the movie's arrival, features a ready-for-action Bond (Daniel Craig) wearing the blue jumper, combat trousers and boots he is seen sporting in the film's trailer and wielding a gun. Hang on, I thought the movie wasn't arriving till next April. Or has it been moved back to November again? I'm having trouble keeping track.

"This is it. That’s it, it’s over," Craig reassured of his exit in an interview this year. "But I, for one, am incredibly happy I got the chance to come back and do another one, because… this movie, whatever people think of it — who knows what people are going to think of it — everybody, including these people here, just put everything into it. And we did our best. And it feels like that. I know it sounds simplistic, but we did."

How can it be released? Here, in NY, NJ, and CT, the governors refuse to open indoor dining to this date. I do NOT see them allowing indoor theaters to open any time soon, until after the election November 3rd. Would studios need to make their decisions to release the films by mid-September for November?
