Logan Lucky's official box office wound up lower at $7,600,036. Watch what 'Cr-egg 5" does for EON.

Paul Haggis' daughter was interviewed on Leah Remini's show about Scientology. It looks like Paul himself is going to be on an episode himself at some point.

Is this the pre-excuse for the uninspired lackluster performance he's going to give in the next film, as well as the proliferation of stunt masks?
He's in it for one reason DB, the money, nothing else. If the $135 million figure is true, which I find hard to believe, what a waste of money and time :!:
How did Craig get all those injuries playing Bond? Did his wallet fall on him?

Considering her casting process, by the time we were done I'd be the next James Bond, that would be a casting blunder far greater than Craig!

We are looking at what may be the worst August weekend in over 20 years with a top twelve that could struggle to reach a combined $50 million, something that hasn't happened in August since 1993. In fact, while this will undoubtedly be the worst weekend of 2017 thus far, it could be the worst weekend for the top twelve since early September 2014 should Mojo's current forecast hold. For more context, August is currently pacing 36% behind last year and expected to be the first August since 2000 not to have a new release top $100 million domestically. Elsewhere, look for Wonder Woman to possibly challenge for a spot in the top ten as it is adding over 1,400 theaters, including several IMAX locations, hoping to bolster that already $404.4 million domestic gross. Logan Lucky is anticipating a 47% second weekend drop for the heist-comedy and a fifth place finish with a paltry $4 million, still in over 3,000 theatres.

Number 1 movie in Friday's box office charts is The Hitman's Bodyguard. I've seen the posters for this, and it looks truly awful. One of them has Sam Jackson leaping into Ryan Reynolds's arms in a comedy Scooby Doo type pose. Err...this is supposed to be aimed at adults, right?

‘Gone With The Wind’ Pulled From Memphis Theatre After Being Considered “Insensitive” :!:  --------------------------‘Logan Lucky’ proves Hollywood still doesn’t get Trumpland: By Maureen Callahan August 26, 2017 NY POST: “Logan Lucky” bombed, debuting with $8.1 million on 3,031 screens last weekend — stomped by “The Hitman’s Bodyguard,” a poorly-reviewed action comedy starring Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson that nonetheless pulled in $21.6 million on 3,377 screens. Why? One theory: Soderbergh, aware or not, is mocking the dispossessed Americans he thought would flock to his movie. “Logan Lucky,” along with the recent box-office flop “The Glass Castle,” constitute the most current examples of Hollywood’s inability to accurately reflect America’s poor and dispossessed. It feels almost institutional, this deep care given to portrayals of anyone on the margins of physical, racial, sex- or gender-based norms while red-state America — where Soderbergh targeted much of the advertising for “Logan” — remains a one-dimensional joke. It’s hard not to conclude that Soderbergh’s cultural snobbery, however unintentional, is equally painful.

Ouch rough BO weekend.

Part of it is the movies, part of it is the prices.
Also foreign markets are being given greater consideration, like EON making sure they don't offend china.

No need to sugar coat it, this was a miserable box office weekend. The combined gross of the top twelve failed to total over $50 million, something that hasn't happened in an August weekend in over 20 years. In fact, the combined $49 million for the top twelve is the worst since the top twelve combined for $43.5 million in late September 2001. Making matters worse, with next weekend seeing no major, new wide releases things aren't going to improve until It arrives on September 8. -----------------Bleecker's Logan Lucky rounds out the top five with an estimated $4.4 million after dropping 42.5% in its second weekend. The film's domestic cume now totals a paltry $15 million after ten days in release. -----------------WB's Wonder Woman was brought back to several theaters (+1,407) where it grossed an estimated $1.7 million for a domestic total of $406.2 million. The film is now just $3.8 million shy of $410 million, which would place it #20 on the all-time domestic chart. Additionally, Wonder Woman topped $400 million internationally this weekend, fueled by an estimated $3.4 million three-day opening in Japan bringing the film's worldwide cume to $806.2 million placing it 64th all-time.--------Al Gore's trash film only did $80,000 all weekend and finished in 37th place :!:  No solar panels on the roofs of his $9 million palatial estate and this crumb wants to be taken seriously? The Convenient Truth is that he is a fraud and a scam artist that terrorizes millennials with false conclusions that cannot be corroborated because nobody knows what the future will be like :!: His first BS film did $49.7 million in 2006. Now, the folluw-up's total is a minuscule $3.7 million worldwide :!: :Bonk: -------------Next weekend is the first Labor Day weekend in some time to not have a major wide release hitting theaters. That said, Sony is re-releasing Steven Spielberg's Close Encounters of the Third Kind into ~700 theaters.    :hair:
