So we should count Connery’s return in DAF & NSNA?

Holy crap that’s 21 years! OMG! That is 7 movies with Connery taking a break of 12 years still is about 1 movie every 3 years,

Roger Moore arguable was the most reliable bond, 7 movies over 12 years, he worked for the franchise and help give it a catalog of movies to keep it being played on tv for decades

Dalton managed 2 movies over two years

Brosnan has 4 movies in 7 years

Why is eon and their fanboys celebrating the sloth pace of 5 movies in 14-15 years?

They're grasping at straws at this point, like you say Big O, bringing up Hoagy Carmichael, who no matter how much you squint and tilt your head looks nothing like the Craggy One, is a ridiculous argument. As for the "longest tenure" well that has been in the rant cue for awhile now.

Looking forward to it DB.
It is weird that troll even bothers posting, my guess is either this site really bothers them or the eon temp job still sucks :)

About bond being British, maybe eon has watered down the brand to be more appealing to a world wide audience, to me Craig isn’t British or English, I know lazenby isn’t but he seemed to fit the role of English spy, Connery is Scottish, Dalton Welsh, Brosnan Irish, Moore had the Union Jack as his parachute

I was looking for a image of it to post when a line from a Tweet caught my eye
“Forget Casino Royale. A true Bond film is Roger Moore jumping off a cliff on skis and opening his Union Jack parachute!”

Just going to go with that because it made me laugh

Yeah, I imagine it's a bit of both. These trolls are a strange breed, seeking out opinions they don't agree with and leaving rude comments. While I am a contrarian by definition, I would never dream of going to MI6-HQ and bursting their bubble. I just do it on this site

Yeah, I don't know where he was going with that, I wonder if that was some sort of thinly veiled reference to race? Whatever the case it was an odd comment.

We have some kind of DoS attack on the site, possibly on other sites on the same server not related to us.

Showbiz reporter Baz Bamigboye is suggesting another move could be on the cards, quoting a source as stating: “If it has to wait till next year then so be it. There are hundreds of millions of dollars involved here. Release it when audiences feel safe to return. But it’s a nerve-racking call.”

I don’t think they can do this. Yes it’s hundreds of millions but they can’t drag this on indefinitely. Looks like they competition moving their release dates put the scare in babs to be floating this idea.
MGM is the worry they are positioning themselves to be sold, they can’t drag this out.
We could actually say Babs helped kill MGM, she says on her hands when they needed her to makes movies. 2004 they were ready for a sequel, she wasn’t by the time she was mgm had to sell interest to Sony. MGM needed a movie 2010 , Babs did nothing. It was 2012 before mgm could afford to make another bond movie at $400 million a pop.
MGM needed content and movies, Babs dragged her feet to 2015 with mixed results. Now 5 years later she finally ready to let go of Craig and make a final movie. Then Mother Nature or possibly China steps in. I don’t know if mgm can afford to wait another year.

Film discussion YouTube Channel Midnight’s Edge claimed in March: “Sources have informed Midnight’s Edge that a recent test screening of No Time To Die did not go well.”
