Craig is a weird actor in that while he went on and on right after CR in 2006 about how his name can get a movie made or project started, there no evidence that this was actually true because to my recollection most small projects he was attached to he quits at a inconvenient time for the production.Kristatos wrote:Wish he'd quit Bond for Purity, rather than the other way round. My hope (and it's admittedly a rather slim one) is that it works out for the best in the long term. Aidan Turner is currently tied up with Poldark, but he might be free for Bond 26....Omega wrote:Pretty sure that show was doa before Craig sold out to Babs once more

I too always hoped that he’d find a role he truly loved and quit the job he obviously hates, he just doesn’t work unless he absolutely has to, he will not do pr tours or talk to fans unless he is forced. The mans career outside of bond is basically none existent and that not because he was type cast, it’s because he was sooooo rich it didn’t makes sense to get out of bed in the morning. And there were a lot of people early on after CR in Hollywood who wanted to make him a somebody.
My fear is he already stayed too long, the bond brand is damaged by him to such s point a fresh take or rereboot will not find a audience. even fans like Sweeney are ready for a fresh face as bond and new direction. I’m pretty sure Babs has no clue how to do it or desire to hire someone to make it happen
With big brands failing i am pretty sure Hollywood is certain Craig has to be there to make bond a success, ignoring the history of the series because they are so afraid of a WB justice league or TLJ/ Solo reaction.
If for whatever reason Craig s next bond truly flops they will look back in retrospect and say he stayed too long and his bad attitude and comments hurt the brand but if it’s a true flop like JL MGM will not recover like Disney and WB.
