The Movement for Black Lives is using the movie to engage the Black community through voter registration events at Black Panther screenings. The movement’s Electoral Justice Project (EJP) spearheaded the “Wakanda the Vote” campaign when Black Panther opened this past weekend. The EJP fights for the advancement of the rights of the Black community through electoral strategy. With the 2018 midterm elections right around the corner, EJP hopes to encourage the community to vote during this divisive time in our country and make change.........oh really? :!: Divisive? It's the media that is divisive :!:

I doubt much will come of Wakanda the vote. It’s obvious pandering too far from the election to matter. Probably turn off more people than it inspires, judging by who’s behind this it’s probably only meant as fodder for stories .

As of Right now trump has done black families than obama did. As jimmy carter said obama came in with a lot of great promises but didn’t deliver.

BLOATED, sweaty and a face tighter than a pair of Spandex pants – what has happened to Daniel Craig? Bond star Daniel Craig is famed for his smouldering good looks, but at the BAFTAs his frozen, puffy appearance caused us to wonder whether he's losing his license to thrill

Daniel’s famous sexy scowl that used to make me weak at the knees looks to have been ironed harder than my nan’s curtains. His looks, or lack of them, are a far cry from the stylish spy who stole my heart. Remember when he climbed out of the sea with a licence to thrill in the opening scene of Casino Royale?

So after his first spy outing in 2006, has my favourite Bond lost the plot? Perhaps he was just having a bad night at the Baftas. Sadly not. Earlier this month the 49-year-old was snapped celebrating with England’s rugby players in Rome after the win against Italy in their opening game of the Six Nations. I don’t know what was less sexy — his greasy comb over, hamster cheeks or double denim dad outfit. And let’s not forget when he posed for photos at the screening for Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri in New York with his belly hanging over his trousers.

He looked more David Brent than James Bond. Desperate for answers, I contacted Harley Street cosmetic doctor Dr David Jack to see if he could put his finger on it. “His face looks swollen and unnatural,” he explains. “It could be a number of different things but the most obvious would be overdoing Botox and fillers. It looks as if he’s had a high dosage of Botox in his top and lower face as well as lots of fillers. When administering Botox for men, you have to be careful not to use too much.

You don’t want to remove every line — because then you start to feminise the face, which can look weird. Botox should just relax the features, not completely smooth them out. It’s the same with fillers. They should only be used to create volume where it has been lost. They shouldn’t be used to create features like cheekbones which weren’t there before. If this is behind Daniel’s swollen face, and not some kind of illness or facial reaction, then I’d suggest he lays off Botox and has a correctional treatment to dissolve the fillers. If Daniel is not suffering from some kind of illness, then it is sad he felt the need to mess around with his face. As the saying goes: If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

I was thinking that the people who gave Pierce endless stick for having botox injections would be falling over themselves to defend this. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Could Bond 25 be when the backlash finally hits, or will the Craigskis lap it up like good little doggies, as usual?

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

Before the last movie there was a bunch of stories of how shocked studios were at how bad Craig looked, they wanted him to have surgeries to correct Gods mistakes namely Craig’s face. Craig was rumored to be furious, but that’s the kind of puff pr journalism we’ll get no matter what the question is. People noticed for years he was caked in makeup at these pr events and movie openings, but the entertainment press would just write about how commanding his small presence is, like Napoleon.

He’s had cgi fix his face for years, a cgi perfected fx mask took his place on set for decades.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it? That boat sailed a long time ago.

Maybe Craig saw the scientific proof his face was not what Babs promised him it was and he had some work done.
IMO he either did this on his own because he or his wife wanted it, or he looked to crappy for bond or another role.
Now he looks like a feminized Alfred E Newman.

So while Craig revealed his latest 100% Plasticine look, Christopher Nolan “categorically” bows out of directing the next Bond film.

http://www.digitalspy.com/movies/james- ... and-discs/

Oddly, the article states that Craig has a “rumoured final appearance”:

But while he's ruled himself out of Bond 25, and Daniel Craig's fifth and rumoured final appearance as Bond, he [Nolan] adds that he'd love to work on the franchise one day.

Nothing he hasn't said before. Reading between the lines, I think he's really saying "I won't direct a Bond film with TUBAPBS* in it".

It's bad grammar but I think they meant his next appearance is rumored to be his last rather than his appearance in the film is rumored.

I'm guessing this author is trying to soften their edge in this article by building Craig up before tearing him down. That's the only way I can explain why this person delusionaly claims Craig ever had "smoldering good looks" let alone was "famous" for them!

If Craig made her "weak in the knees" I curious as to her opinion on Putin's profile?

The really funny thing to me is, looking over the photos, I don't see that much difference between "handsome Craig" and "fugly Craig". I mean the only real difference being he's lost his namesake facial crags!

Danny Boyle would be a horrible choice. I just don’t see how the tone of his films can be applied to the style of the Bond films. But then we really haven’t had a Bond film in a while.
