According to a study reported by The Daily Mail, Daniel Craig has been named the least attractive Bond actor in the film's franchise.

....According to De Silva, Craig fell short with a score of 84.2% because "he has very thin lips, a bulbous nose and his face is very wide."

And his namesake crags, ridiculous buzz cut, pasty, dry skin, scowly face, the fact he looks like Vladimir Putin...

Last time something like this was in the news it was scientist using Ian's descriptions of Bond in the novels to make a composite image, I believe the result were more Sean Connery and George Lazenby than the rest, Daniel was no where close to Ian Fleming's ideal of Bond. I want to say it was early 2007 when Casino Royal was a big deal and Daniel was too perfect for 007. We received plenty of hate for spreading the story, either we were "homos" for noticing how a ugly bloke looks or we were "anti gay". Nicest hate mail & forum abuse we got was condemning us as illiterate dolts who never touched any of Ian's books if we had we could not avoid being awestruck by how perfect Casino Royale with Craig is and how dumb we were for not knowing Hoagy Carmichael was a ugly ugly man.

So, in a matter of 12 hours, the Mission: Impossible – Fallout trailer will be released. Once again, Tom Cruise will show Eon Productions how it's done.

Not sure if we are going to watch the super bowl, we were watching a show on YouTube last night and kept getting ads that seemed like they would be super bowl ads. Amazons Alexa losing her voice was really well done, there are a couple of others that seem super bowl quality but were being streamed on YouTube as regular ads.

In 2017, the NFL saw regular season television viewership fall 12 per cent, and it was even worse in the playoffs. Attendance was off three per cent, with 22 of 32 teams seeing declines. I hope the Patriots win today and that will wrap up the NFL season.-----------update: they lost and that's it for the NFL season and now it's on to baseball :!:

Didn’t watch the game except for the last 8 min and solo teaser, which looked too cgi and sounded like Harrison Ford did the voice over.
I heard there were not a lot of referee interferences which would be a welcome change. Nice to see Brady lose

Hey bj do you know anything about the history of NYC?
I just saw a show on history in color, they had a shot of late 1920s may be early 1930 of NYC
They were talking about the mob violence and how armed vigilantes walked the streets to fight it. The piece of film they colorized looked like a guy wearing WW1 kit and maybe a trench shotgun,
I never heard of this before, is it common knowledge in NYC?
Other thought I had was maybe Batman was not as pure fiction if NYC had these WW1 vets fighting crime in the 1920s.

Sean Harris's villainous Solomon Lane – leader of 'The Syndicate' – will escape from his box to cause more mischief. "Ethan Hunt and his IMF team, along with some familiar allies, race against time after a mission gone wrong." McQuarrie gave us a (tiny) bit more information when he clarified the newly-announced title in January. "The title has multiple meanings in the film, from the literal to the figurative," he told Empire. "There is the threat of nuclear terrorism hanging over the movie, which is the literal threat. There's the notion that what's happened in the movie is the end result of choices that Ethan Hunt has made in his life. It's Ethan's past come back to haunt him. It's the fallout of all his good intentions."

It’s looking like the game garnered the lowest metered market ratings since 2010. Early overnight numbers put Super Bowl LII at a 47.4 household rating in Nielsen’s 56 metered markets, according to Programming Insider. Those numbers are subject to change throughout the day, but they equate to roughly 107 million to 110 million total viewers. That 47.4 rating marks a three percent dip from last year’s big game and the lowest number since 2010’s matchup between the New Orleans Saints and Indianapolis Colts.

Police say 37-year-old Alex Cabrera Gonsales drove a black Ford F-150 pickup truck onto the emergency shoulder along Interstate 70 around 4 a.m. Sunday, plowed into a ride-share vehicle, and killed Indianapolis Colts linebackerEdwin Jackson and 54-year-old Jeffrey Monroe of Avon. The man accused of killing an NFL player and another man in a DUI-related crash Sunday morning is an illegal Mexican alien whom authorities are trying to deport, according to charging documents. Mr. Cabrera Gonsales didn’t have a driver’s license, tried to flee the scene of the accident and had a blood-alcohol level of at least .15 (nearly twice the legal limit), authorities said. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss:

I’ve done some searching online and there is nothing about it, close as I can get is the 1970s Guardian angels, Buy nothing as far back as the 20s & 30s, guess it’s not unusual for history to be lost the gangs of New York history was unknown to most of the world until that movie about it cane out, NYC rebelling during the civil war is little know too. They wanted to secede from the star of New York and the union to be come a free trade zone , also the conscription of poor was not going down well, union army came in to conquer NYC, I think it’s know as draft riots more than for wanting to leave the union.

I’ll try to get a screen capture of the show I saw it on, it was called America in Color the year was 1920 right at the end, or 1930 at the beginning.
The show had all kinds of facts I never heard of including a essentially terrorist attack on the streets of NYC, if I remember right is was a wagon full of explosives.

good trailer , look better than the last 12 years of bond although it followed the same fighting style on camera more or less but it looks like it was a story behind it rather than feeling obligated to include a chase then copy something that happened in a classic bond movie

The least attractive Bond (as proven by science) was in Rome at the weekend to watch England play rugby.

Amazed how young Tom Cruise looks. He must have a painting in the attic somewhere.

Update:The Philadelphia Eagles’ 41-33 victory over the New England Patriots averaged 103.4 million viewers, "down about 7%" vs. the 111.32 million viewers for last year’s game. The game drew the smallest Super Bowl audience since 2009’s game drew 98.38 million viewers.
