Cosby, 80, could end up spending his final years in prison after a jury concluded he sexually violated Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his suburban Philadelphia home in 2004. He claimed the encounter was consensual.
man this predates me too.

Legendary liberal NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw is facing allegations of inappropriate behavior against two women in the 1990s, including a former NBC correspondent. The women told The Washington Post in interviews that they experienced unwanted advances from Brokaw, including forcible attempts at kissing. One woman who has come forward publicly, Linda Vester, is a former NBC News employee who says Brokaw, 30 years her senior, once invited himself over to her hotel room while in New York then proceeded to make unwanted advances..........another one will bite the dust in the media :!:

According to chef Allen Campbell, Tom Brady, his wife Gisele Bündchen, and family all avoid tomatoes, eggplant, and peppers — collectively known as nightshade vegetables — along with mushrooms because of their supposed inflammatory effects.

I can't eat peppers, they give me the runs. Not sure about eggplant/aubergine. I don't eat that anyway, because I don't like it.

The release date for the new James Bond film has reportedly been pushed back so that Daniel Craig can concentrate on Rachel Weisz’s pregnancy. :jack: Image

Because he is such a key part of this universe.
The franchise is truly dead once and for all if they think they need to wait ancient looking Craig for another movie. No actor was ever bigger than Bond. And if there was such a case, it certainly wouldn't be charisma-lacking grumpy Craig who looks like an ordinary blue collar worker. Much greater men than Craig walked away from the role when they felt like it was time or got fired. Why is Craig being put on this pedestal is beyond me :jack:

I honestly think they are postponing because eon is not ready, Craig is a good excuse, but what’s the point of a sequel 5-6 years after the last. I would t be surprised if the postpone again. I think Babs is out of gas, she’d rather make her female spy drama that’s still postponed.

re: Bond 25 release date.

Rachel Weisz is about four months pregnant. That means she got pregnant end of 2017/start of 2018. That means she should have the baby by end of September/beginning of October.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

--A new script was started after the first of the year. Maybe the first draft is done, but when has a first draft been filmed?

--There's still no distributor. Thus, there's no way to get the movie into theaters at this point.

--MGM, according to a March story by The Hollywood Reporter, is trying to sell itself and is using its Bond film rights as a selling point. According to THR, this may be holding up the distributor decision.

Bond 25's release may be pushed back. That November 2019 date was always built on a foundation of sand (i.e. no distributor). If that happens, it will have nothing to do with Mr. and Mrs. Craig welcoming an addition to the family.

Here's the weekend box office chart from Box Office Mojo. Figures subject to revision when actual figures come in on Monday.

http://www.boxofficemojo.com/weekend/chart/

At No. 24 is Kings, with Daniel Craig and Halle Berry at $173,000.

my honest guess is mgm wants to sell and the bond talk and keeping Craig on are all the means to an end.

There must be a Bond film in 2022 and one would expect a new Bond by then, but you never know with the green vegetable at EON. If so, there will be "2" films required in basically 2 years, ala 2006-2008, which means there will be a quick turn around from Cr-egg to a new Bond, which means he must be purged from the scene by EON immediately after the next film goes to DVD, and start the preparations from the 60th anniversary film, unless Broccoli does not deem that an important issue for the franchise. There was an anniversary film in 2002 and 2012, so who knows what lurks in the mind of one Barbara Broccoli :?: :!: When Cr-egg does finally leave, we should all sign a get well card to Broccoli as she will be distraught and depressed and we can have our very own FBF deliver these two gifts to her on our behalf: Image Image

Rex Reed:One Star: Halle Berry Aside, ‘Kings’ Falls Flatter Than a Wet Tortilla :!: If it’s worth saying once, it’s worth repeating: good intentions do not always a good motion picture make. So true about Kings, a noisy and confusing train wreck about a hard-working mother trying to hold together a family of eight foster kids of every age during the rampant 1991 riots in South Central Los Angeles (a.k.a. Watts) following the Rodney King beating. Despite sincere work by Halle Berry, Daniel Craig and a lot of unknown youngsters, the film, poorly edited and weakly unfocused by Turkish writer-director Deniz Gamze Ergüven, is a real mess.

I just watched Deadpool for the first time ever, on tv. Without a doubt, by far, it's the absolute worst Marvel movie ever made, and it might be one of the worst movies of all time :!: Big O, did you say you actually liked this? It's a pornographic, vulgar and gory display, that insults one's senses :!: Ryan Reynolds even mocks his own horrific acting skills with his one liner in the film about himself :!: I cannot believe this film was successful. It is unwatchable. There is more sexual plot than superhero content. I thought Bana's Hulk was bad, but this pile of celluloid manure takes the cake :!: The sequel awaits in a few weeks to boot. Unreal :!:

it’s Deadpool and tame compared to the comic. Logan is r rated too but truer to the common sense of the old man Logan series even with Professor X dropping the F bomb.

Deadpool is vulgar black humor.
Bana’s hulk was not the hulk of the comics and tv and tried to be something it’s not. Deadpool is pretty much what the comics were like. Kind of a throwback to the violent raunchy 70 & 80s movies.

Deadpool comics showed anal sex with strap-ons? Were they sold to children? I never heard of this comic before the movie came out.........................."Much late night comedy is less about being funny and more about Indoctrination by comedic disposition,” Rob Schneider continued on Twitter. "People aren't really laughing at it as much as cheering on the rhetoric. SNL no longer resembles a comedy show, it's more like some kind of liberal Klan meeting."
