One of my favorite shows because of his skills as a mechanic, when I first saw the show on velocity I though William Shatner was doing a funny accent buying a car, then Edd came on a did an impressive job fixing the car, every show Edd did a job, used a tool, repaired a part I had never seen before. d**n shame he left because the new production company wanted to cut back on the shop seems which was the only reason to watch

Wheeler dealers did a couple of Bond cars too

I'm there with you O, Edd is (was) Wheeler Dealers. Nobody and I mean NOBODY tuned in to see Mike "free grand" Brewer over pay and under sell cars, EVERYONE tunes in to see Edd spin wrenches and actually learn something! It's a perfect example of what's wrong in entertainment these days and just how far off the plot these producers are. "Hey, you know that popular show we have where the tall guy rebuilds cars?" "What if and I'm just spit balling here," (SNIFFFFF as he does another line of coke) "What if we dropped all that nonsense and focused on the fat guy nobody likes mumbling his way around town?!"

PATHETIC!!!!!!!!
Mike had his own show where he'd travel around the world Buy and trading cars trying to get his dream car, made two season and I don't know anybody who watched it .

Edd is a true mechanic , a little nuts when he could build whatever he wanted but he was very good at explaining how to fix something and the way it works.
Mike was feeling the pressure last season or two he'd have a segment where he helped fix the car, in a very minor way. Edd was the reason most of us watched, I hope Edd gets a show where he just fixes cars with out fat shatner mike playing the part of a fool.

“It’s definitely going over $100M, there’s no way the wheels are falling off this one.” Those are the words of a wise rival distribution executive on the expected results for Sony/Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming which on the low end is looking at a three-day of $105M. That’s bound to be the third best debut for both a Sony release and a Spider-Man movie following 2007’s Spider-Man 3 ($151.1M) and the original 2002 film ($114.8M). Some even see Homecoming busting past $112M, possibly even hitting $120M, but it’s still too early to call those figures. Today alone, Homecoming looks to clear between $42M-$45M with last night representing 34%-37% of that figure.

It's not really Sonys Spider-Man, it's marvel. Sonys Spider-Man was Garfield they praised the poor performance promised the third movie then promptly made a deal with Disney for a cut of the marvel profit.

I like the look of the new Spider-Man movie but the new peter Parker hasn't impressed me yet.
Most importantly it's not a Sony production why Sony got the rights goes back to MGM thinking Spider-Man was unfilmable, and Sony thinking casino royals was unfilmable.
There was/is a stink coming off Sony movies, ghostbusters reboot, and others that show the company thinking about stories and movies. They have hired a lot of talented people to make movies for them then tie their hands with bad ideas

Were the Fantastic Four movies Sony? I started to watch the first one on TV and had to turn it off, it was so bad (by "the first one", I don't mean the Roger Corman one, which was at least bad in an entertaining way). The sequels are apparently no better.

That was 20th Century Fox. At one point, Fox acquired the film rights to the FF, the X-Men and Daredevil. Fox only made the one movie with Daredevil, then let the rights revert to Marvel. But Fox, for now, still holds the film rights to the X-Men and the FF.

At the moment, Marvel publishes no Fantastic Four comic book. Apparently it refuses to publish until Fox lets go of the FF film righs.

FF is totally unwatchable. The first 2 were bad enough, but the PC reboot third buried it for good :!: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/search/?q=fantastic%20four

Deadline.com: How do you improve the Spider-Man franchise a third time around? Team up with Disney’s Marvel and its chief Kevin Feige in the production process. If you want to ensure that your film is a success, then put it through the Marvel quality control process which pleases both audiences and critics. Marvel will remain a partner on the next sequels of Homecoming, plus Spider-Man star Tom Holland will reprise his role in Disney’s Avengers: Infinity War series.

Really? I had no idea Marvel was withholding publishing. Ian Fleming's family would never do this. I believe 'Never Leave a Cent on the Table' is their family motto.

Deadline.com: Consider what a feat Sony and Marvel have accomplished here with Homecoming: Few -if any- franchises within a seven-year span are rebooted three times with different stars and reach these B.O. heights (it took 007 ten years between Roger Moore’s last movie View to a Kill and Pierce Brosnan’s Goldeneye with a major drought in between with the Timothy Dalton titles). Could imagine if this was done with Iron Man? In the middle of a franchise fatigued summer, here’s a movie that bucks the trend: Completely fresh, and a superhero movie like no other in its John Hughes homage. Sony’s reboot here of Homecoming is reminiscent of what the studio did with Bond in it's Daniel Craig-Casino Royale makeover in that it brought the franchise back its roots. In the books, Bond is a gritty guy, and in the comics, Peter Parker is a wide-eyed teenager.

If reports are to be believed, the saga over the next James Bond is at an end, with The Mirror reporting that producer Barbara Broccoli has convinced Daniel Craig to sign on for a fifth outing as 007 in Bond 25. :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: :cuss: The Mirror’s report also goes on to claim that Broccoli is “determined” to have Adele return to record the theme tune for Bond 25, following her Brit, Grammy and Golden Globe award-winning theme for Skyfall. :hair: :hair: :hair: “Craig and Adele together are the winning team, the ultimate choice, the money spinners,” states The Mirror’s alleged source. “It’s taken time but Daniel has come round and the strong consensus in the Bond offices is that Mr Craig is 007 again. As for Adele, she’s more of an unknown quantity but loved being part of Bond, so the signs are positive.” :hair: :hair: :hair: The current plan is to film the movie next year, likely putting it for a 2019 release :!: :!: :!: :!: Broccoli wants Cr-egg as the longest tenured Bond for sure now. Two more years with this garbage :!:

I saw this story, but I didn't post it because it's another "alleged sources claim" rumour. It wouldn't surprise me if it turned out to be true, but I'm not going to treat it as official until it's confirmed by either EON or Craig himself.

I was getting ready to share it myself before BJ beat me to it. Like Kris I'm taking it with a grain of salt, the article is quite strange in the way it is written, almost as if it's trying to sound like a parody piece.

great point. Logan involvement is suspicious, that was news in 2013 where is supposedly wrote two movies with the idea they be filmed back to back, P&W made big news being brought in to script the movie from scratch.

To me the super lovey way it's worded makes me think somebody had an agenda getting this rumor published. Maybe Craig's publicist.
