Yeah we’ll never have a bond as great as Connery with Babs in charge.

Oh, you meant Jong Un. Wasn’t jong Il a huge bond fan?

One can hope, but it seems unlikely. The total is already up to 55,000, so there would have to be a major slowdown in the number of new deaths to stop at 60,000.

The number will grow if only because the health agencies will play it safe calling unknown causes as covid

But the doom and gloom of millions dead does not look like it’ll be a reality. Weirdly the people who got and survived covid without knowing it may be a lot higher. Seems like a lot of people in California were exposed earlier than thought and when tested now have antibodies or markers for covid-19

There is a LOT of death fraud going on now :!: 200 deaths were removed from Pennsylvania this weekend and 3778 were added on in NY last week that NEVER were tested for the virus but were DEEMED dead because of it :!: Why? Money :!: Hospitals receive a LOT more for corona related deaths with this new stimulus money going to hospitals :!: In 2017, there were 155,000 deaths in New York state. That is 3000 per week. Nobody cared then why people died :!: Remember, where there is a will........there is a relative :!:

Previously, NY city had not counted people who died at home without getting tested for the coronavirus, or who died in nursing homes or at hospitals, but did not have a confirmed positive test result. Mayor Bill de Blasio admitted last week that the true number of deaths was far higher :hair: than the official tally, and said the city would start including "presumed" :hair: coronavirus cases in its data.--------------PRESUMED? :!: DeBlasio and Cuomo mismanaged NY state and city's budgets into the red BEFORE this virus hit :!: DeBlasio and Cuomo are BEGGING Trump now to bail out their mismanagements and falsifying the corona deaths is a great way for the state's hospital to get paid by the FEDERAL government instead of the bankrupt STATE :!: Do NOT doubt me :!: At some point in the future, whenever that is, some whistleblower doctor or hospital administrator will come forward and reveal what they were told to say and do by the two clowns DeBlasi and Cuomo, both vermin and a disgrace to humanity :!:---------new revelation just came out now. 25% of NY's and 40% of New Jersey's death total from the virus were in nursing homes. Well, March 25th in NY and March 31st in NJ saw BOTH governors, Cuomo and Murphy, ORDER nursing to accept coronavirus ACTIVE cases :!: Cuomo is playing dumb and blaming the nursing homes :!: Murphy is silent on this :!: Where is the media blasting these two for their own policies that lead to more deaths :?: :!: Where are the deaths from the "regular" flu as well lately? Did they just up and vanish nationwide? They are being co-mingled with the corona deaths to pump up the tolals most likely and the daily Johns Hopkins death numbers include over 6,000 unconfirmed cases of coronavirus.

As it stands, Odeon and Cineworld are telling Universal that they will not show No Time To Die in the cinemas. If nothing changes, this would mean a limited cinema release to chains willing to show the studio’s films.

In a new undercover investigation, Project Veritas spoke to funeral home directors throughout the five boroughs of NYC who said the COVID-19 death toll is being artificially inflated.

"To be honest with you, all of the death certificates are writing COVID on it, they’re writing COVID on all the death certificates," the director of the Colonial Funeral Home on Staten Island, Michael Lanza, told an undercover Veritas journalist in late April. :hair:  :cuss: -----I knew it would eventually come out :!:

Wow. Odeon started a pissing match they can’t win. I get why they want to push back now, since theater owners have had a sinking feeling for the last 15 years that digital streaming would replace opening weekends at the local movie theater.
If Hollywood is honest except for big movie events 4K home streaming is probably going to replace run of the mill theatrical releases, we bought bloodshot, call of the wild, and another movie I forget now that we would not have bought except for being early release to UHD 4K. We were always going to buy Harley Q & sonic the hedge hog movie.

Covid emergency made it clear the small release that wouldn’t do much anyway can find a market when they are fresh and people are the most curious about it. Before reviews can kill it. Which I don’t think is as prevalent as Hollywood thinks.

For eon I think nttd might do better for them as a direct to home release, it be history making , enough suckers might rent or buy or buy it in a complete collection to make it worth their while

However at a likely $400 million or more budget, it might be hard to get a billion. I have a feeling it will fall short no matter what they do, but the i was wrong about Agatha Christie Movies doing well.

Oh btw Disney has already blown all this up with Disney plus getting premium content immediately

Ah, this is going to happen, unless someone can prove it’s a significant number more than it should be nothing is going to change.

I tend to agree, given that cinemas are all currently closed due to the lockdown, and there is already a big question mark over whether they have a future afterwards. But hopefully they can hold out long enough to do some damage to NTTD's box office

I hate the fact this Covid business gives EON a scapegoat for a poor box office performance, if/when this film tanks, EON can put on the rose colored glasses and Pollyanna their way forward believing this new nu-Bond is the way and the light. They may even convince themselves to throw another Bajillion dollars at the Craggy One so that he'll have a "proper, proper send off."

Unfortunately they have a perfect excuse.
But if they hadn’t stall production for five years they could have made two movies in that time in a time where the box office was still viable.

I’m not sure if bo will come back like it was before or be slowly edged out of the market. The industry basically told people it’s too dangerous to sit in our theaters, and there’s no good way to maintain social distancing at theaters.

Entertainment industry is going to exist and going to make a lot of money but theaters don’t have to be the main venue for distribution. Like how the music industry shifted and movie rentals shifted.

I suppose it depends how it performs relative to other films released around the same time. If it flops and Disney, or one of its subsidiaries, releases a billion-dollar blockbuster a couple of weeks later, it will be harder for them to get away with that excuse.

I’m wondering about how movies make a comeback? Even sporting events, the companies running these things made sure to pack as many bodies in limited spaces, they were disease vectors in good times. Will people after the covid scare be willing to sit inches from strangers who might be carrying a cold, flu or worse.
I’m not sure, in some way I think people are longing to do normal things, in other ways I wonder if there a significant portion of the population now germaphobic, or at least aware.

I can see the next big marvel making big money, people have to get used to the idea of being in packed crowded areas again.

Of course you're correct Kris, but EON is well practiced in the art of gaslighting and their sycophants never met an EON talking point they didn't love to parrot.

Just look at this gentleman who recently posted to the DCiNB site:

"Some of you DC haters just look silly by this point. Craig has been Bond for almost 15 years. Craig is now the LONGEST tenured Bond in terms of time in the role ( Not counting Connery’s turn in the non eon NSNA ). The guy is great in , so what if he is not quite tall enough or has dark blonde hair. He has made the role his own and is a great Bond. News flash , Roger more was a dark blonde , sandy brown. Defiantly golden hair highlights in many a scenes as Bond. Hell Moore doesn’t look anything like Connery and Dalton doesn’t look anything like Moore. None of the actors reminds me completely of Bond when I read Fleming. I certainly don’t picture Sean Connery when I read Fleming , though Connery is still the true #1 Bond , James Bond to me. Fleming called him a snorting lorry driver when he first got the part , but later Fleming said he was great in it. The single MOST important thing about Bond is that he is BRITISH and DC is most certainly British. Another thing , do any of you have the remotest idea what Hoagy Charmicheal looks like ? Well his face structure looks a hell of a lot like DC. As for the complaint about the reboot , HOW else were they going to do Casino Royale ? They have put all the Bond elements back in now and no Bond could work the DB 5 like Craig. Ok enough , if you don’t like Craig that is fine , but you are obviously in the very small minority. I also wonder how many of you are just too stubborn to admit you were wrong."

Why the hell are they bringing up hoagy Carmichael? Very old talking point, I don’t see Craig in hoagy or Steve McQueen.
