Especially for Capt Flandry, here's Mick Jagger dancing to the theme from On The Buses:

Ocho Rios' airport is called Ian Fleming International Airport. It takes its name from the James Bond creator and writer, and the area is of significance to the brand and various movies, including Goldeneye. There's even a James Bond Beach and Goldeneye resort nearby. The James Bond reference isn't lost on American. It has said it'll use the flight number AA4007 :!:
I’m wary of going to Jamaica… my sister-in-law just got back(stayed at an all-inclusive) and had issues getting home. The American Consulate had to get involved. :hair:
What :?: :!: What the hell happened? Jamaica has bad sections they tell visitors to avoid and only use certain cabs as well.

Though it has been nearly 50 years since The Man With the Golden Gun, Ekland, now 79, still looks back fondly on her time with the world's greatest secret agent. She even attended the premiere of the most recent Bond film, No Time to Die, at the Royal Albert Hall in England in September 2021.

"At the time it was not important because I had done plenty of films before, Bond was just something I wanted to do," she told HuffPost in 2012. "I liked the idea of…being an action woman—in the '60s, we just played sex kittens. I had no idea it would be this big, but in the past 10 to 15 years, it's been super-important, because I do [theater], and it's 'Britt Ekland – Bond Girl' and it's just a tag that is great today. James Bond actor Daniel Cr-egg Tests Positive for COVID-19; Craig, 54, who recently appeared in his last film as the British secret agent in "No Time to Die", has been starring in Macbeth on Broadway opposite Ruth Negga. People.com reported that his performances have been canceled due to the actor contracting the coronavirus. In a statement from the production's official Twitter account, Craig's positive result and the subsequent cancelations of the play were revealed less than two hours before its Saturday matinee performance.

NTTD failed to get so much as a nomination in the soundtrack categories at the Grammys. Billie Eilish got a couple of nominations (no wins), but not for NTTD.

.....and......Unlike other awards ceremonies that have seen ratings rebound this year, the Grammys matched 2021’s all-time lows. In fast affiliates, Sunday’s live broadcast on CBS and livestream on Paramount+ delivered 8.93 million viewers, nearly level with last year’s 8.8 million. The 2021 show marked the Grammy’s least-watched iteration ever.

Further bets being done on our boy Aidan!-----Steve Madgwick, an entertainment betting specialist, said: “Aidan Turner has swooped into the top of the betting for the next James Bond after Daniel Craig, after support with bookmakers in his native Ireland moved his odds from 20/1 into just 5/1. This follows a flurry of bets for the Poldark star in recent weeks and puts him among the front runners for the role to take over the 007 mantle.

Broccoli said: "Are they (the next set of 007 movies) going to be more humorous or less humorous, more gritty or not gritty? And then, when we’ve done that, we have to figure out the actor to play it. So, no, it’s not just ‘Oh, who looks good in a suit?’ We have to figure this out on our own."

Wilson added: "And we don't need any more suggestions."-------------how long will it take these two morons to figure this out?

Maybe they don't need any more suggestions because they already know that Turner is the one. I know, triumph of hope over experience.

I'm thinking this may be a message to Bezos and crew to lay off, I'm sure they're champing at the bit to pick a new Bond and get that "content" out there.

And away Bezos goes!------The James Bond saga will finally be available to watch in its entirety for lucky Amazon Prime Video subscribers. The streaming service has confirmed it's launching a new collection of all 25 films later this month. The collection takes us from Sean Connery in Dr. No all the way through to Daniel Craig’s final film, No Time To Die. All of the movies will be released on April 15, with Prime Video confirming they’ll be available for a "limited time" – two months, to be precise, except for No Time To Die which can be viewed for 12 months. The news also marks the streaming premiere of Craig’s final Bond film after its cinematic release in 2021. The streaming launch comes after MGM, which owns the rights to the Bond movies, was bought by Amazon.

Cr-egg will be back on Broadway as his covid must be over. Broccoli must be relieved........April 13, 1953 will always be an important day for the history of the James Bond movies. It’s the day that Ian Fleming’s first 007 book, Casino Royale, was published, and it’s also commonly accepted as James Bond’s birthday. :happybd: Image

It's the CraigBond's birthday, chosen to commemorate the publication of Casino Royale. Ian Fleming didn't give Bond's date of birth, but John Pearson had him born on Armistice Day, 11th November, and this had been accepted as canon prior to the reboot. Though for some reason, Bond's passport in The Living Daylights shifts it back a day to 10/11/1948.
