Barbara did not plan to make 5 interconnected films! She is making it up.

The Batman's Rotten Tomatoes audience score is the highest of any live-action Batman movie to date. Warner Bros. has a massive hit on its hands with Matt Reeves' movie. At the time of writing, the audience score on the review aggregator is at 96%. In second place are Batman Begins and The Dark Knight with 94%. The Christopher Nolan Batman films are going to be discussed a lot as more people see the latest movie in the franchise. It would be hard not to note the similarities between the big trilogy and Reeves' reimagining. However, The Batman diverges from some of the previous entries in a pretty significant way. None of that radical switch-up seems to be affecting the core fans though. People are thrilled with Robert Pattinson's take on The Caped Crusader. Special mention has also been made of Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Colin Farrell as The Penguin.

A heavily male crowd here for The Batman at 67%, with the roaring moviegoing 18-34 crowd repping 62%, per PostTrak. Diversity draw was 41% Caucasian, 26% Latino and Hispanic, 17% Black, and 16% Asian/other. CinemaScore audience diagnostics are showing males at 65%, giving the movie an A-, females a B+ at 35%. Those over 35 repped 31% of the crowd, while those over 50 showed up at 11%. A-s grades largely throughout all demos. It is looking at a $120 million opening in the USA.

It's the 3-hour runtime that puts me off The Batman. Bring back intermissions, I say.

The actual run time without the ending credits is 2 hours 45 minutes. I just watched it. I personally was not that impressed. These reboots with different actors revolving around similar plots is wearing thin. Pattinson seemed OK as Batman but it reminded me tooooooooooooo much of previous film plots and the Riddler villain was unimpressive. I thought Bales' trilogy was much better with Nolan. The 18-34 crowd that flooded the seats probably cannot relate to the Keaton trilogy nor maybe even the Bale trilogy, so they think Batman was just invented now for their generation.

Still a strain on the bladder. I take it there was no post-credits sequence?

I generally sit through the end credits just in case. Though very often it's a waste of time. As one Twitter user sarcastically put it, "My favourite bit of Marvel* movies is when you sit through 9 minutes of credits for 5 seconds of someone walking through a doorway and saying 'it's me, Blorko'".

*=also applies to DC.

The other thing is she claims Craig wanted to kill bond off from the start and they all agreed and that was the plan, I don’t believe that any more the she sitting around planing ten years in advance. They have admitted to be still writing script as they are starting filming.

But I’m glad the lack of nominations for Craig upsets them. They should be very concerned about the loss in key box office, sure uk and Germany love them some bond more German than English, but the rest of the wold bond has lost more than a few steps.

But I’m glad Babs is upset the critics and peers she trashed her fathers legacy to impress didn’t love Craig as much as she does.

I'd heard about this, but I didn't realise that it had actually been recorded. I thought it was something they'd just talked about doing. Kamen and Clapton had worked together before on Lethal Weapon, and this arrangement sounds better suited to that franchise.

Sorry MP, but Sweeney has not been around for 5 months. He will probably re-emerge whenever Broccoli names her next "pet" as Bond.

Unless she persuades Craig to come back once again for some kind of "in between" adventure between SP and NTTD.

Image Cr-egg pushing a stroller here in NYC. It would be interesting if I ever happened to be in the same place as him.

What would you do? Personally, I think I'd just avoid him.
