*sigh* where to start..I was ANGRY when I heard what happened in Barcelona..WTF is wrong with the world? that sort of thing is happening daily anymore[/steps off soapbox] :P
good to see you too!

Yeah it's bad. It's not something that can be reasoned with. Just saw a boy missing for the last few days was confirmed killed in Barcelona.

ANOTHER box office bomb for Cr-egg: Bleecker's Logan Lucky managed a third place finish on Friday with an estimated $2.8 million, heading toward a soft $7.5-8 million opening weekend.            They never learn and boy oh boy will they get more of this starting in December of 2019 :!: Cr-egg is now toxic to movie producing. I guess Soderbergh should re-retire for good :!: Logan Lucky is estimated at a $29M production cost and $20M P&A. It was largely funded by foreign pre-sales plus partners like Amazon who took 'streaming rights'. It will be more of 'screaming' rights now :!:  Image

Misguided Cast Delivers Brain-Dead Script in Soderbergh’s ‘Logan Lucky’::::Overrated director releases a flick as welcome as toenail fungus
By Rex Reed • 08/18/17 3:00pm----------The robbery plans proceed slower than all seven of Soderbergh’s Ocean’s 11 movies put together, but they need the help of a safe cracker named Joe Bang (Daniel Craig, peroxided, tattooed and slumming, his suave James Bond image obliterated with a cornpone Southern accent so thick you couldn’t cut it with pinking shears) :!:

I had to check that Logan Lucky wasn't on one of those limited releases where it opens on a few screens prior to its wide release (it wasn't). Bad news for those fantasising about Craig being lured away from Bond 25 (though let's be honest, there was never much chance of that happening after he had already been announced).

one prediction thought $10 would be strong performance. 8 million d**n, that's a bad opening with 3000 theaters.
To be fair luck Logan is not part of movie pass, btw Movie Pass is part of some survey group $9.99 a month, for a ticket each day to a different movie. Part of their philosophy is trying to convince Hollywood it the prices hold back movies. I kind of agree between the concessions and ticket price it's cheaper to buy the 4k movie when it comes out.

Anyway I though the hitman's bodyguard looked stupid not as dumb as Logan lucky which has a good cast but from what I can tell makes fun of NASCAR fans.

For Daniel Cr-egg, it's his lowest wide opening since the $5.9 million debut for The Invasion in 2007.   :yay:  It's just beautifully fitting that just after EON embarrasses themselves, and shells out a ridiculous amount of money on an ugly marsupial that will bore the audiences to sleep in 2019, that this news hits :!: Great work Broccoli :!: R.I.P. now to your daddy's legacy :!: You cannot have this long of a time frame of 20 years between new Bond actors. EON has thrown their prized possession into the MGW moth ball heap :!:

Climate activists in shock at Gore sequel bombing at box office: 'This was not supposed to happen' :!: --------while we here in NYC are having a very 'cool' summer, Al Gore's moronic threats are out the window :!: ------------Not even a bevy of Hollywood stars could save Al Gore’s “An Inconvenient Sequel” from a box-office dive as the film earned less in its second weekend despite adding hundreds of screens. After the film’s lackluster debut, Paramount Pictures launched a trailer last week featuring celebrities like Bono, Randy Jackson, Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Shailene Woodley endorsing the documentary by explaining why they are “inconvenient.” “I’m inconvenient for the future of the planet,” Paul McCartney said in the trailer. Even so, the documentary starring the former vice president grossed an estimated $800,000 at the box office over the Aug. 11-13 weekend, down from last weekend’s $961,193 gross despite the addition of 376 screens for a total of 556, according to Box Office Mojo, and only $300,000 this weekend. The sequel to 2006’s “An Inconvenient Truth” also fell from 16th to 18th in its second weekend of wide release on the box-office list, and to 20th this weekend, prompting critic Roger Friedman to declare that the film has been “a box office dud so far.” Climate Depot dubbed the film “a box office bomb,” while audiences on Rotten Tomatoes gave it a low 47 percent approval rating.                         This clown Gore flies private jets worldwide and wants the 'peasants' to ride horseback as he heats his massive inground pool in his elaborate mansion :!: Screw you Al :!: Radical liberalism at it's finest :!: Image Image

A report today claims that the actor’s wife, Rachel Weisz, has persuaded him to go easier after collecting a string of injuries whilst making past capers.

A source told The Mirror: "It's a big bone of contention. Rachel doesn't want him in agony again. None of his aches and pains have gone away completely.

"There's a legacy to all these injuries and she lives with them.

“They've come to an agreement about how hard he will push himself and he is pulling back from the edge this time. It's a prerequisite." Craig himself had previously revealed the extent of the damage he had done to his body whilst making Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre.

"I knackered my knee and had surgery, I've had my right shoulder reconstructed, my other knee operated on and my thumb got hurt,” he admitted

Dunno why you're so happy. The more of these flops he has, the more likely it is that he'll want to go on playing Bond forever.

He won't leave Bond to pursue other films if they wind up successful, which they never will. He leaves when SONY/MGM gets a backbone. I want total renunciation of this no-talent waste that Broccoli has created which makes her persistence in retaining him as Bond sheer lunacy.

And the longer he stays, the less Bondian Bond looks for many years to come. And the less Bondian Bond looks, the more likely anyone or anything can be Bond.

So now Rachel Weisz is married to the stuntman in the Craig mask?! WOW, that guy stands in for everything!

Is this the pre-excuse for the uninspired lackluster performance he's going to give in the next film, as well as the proliferation of stunt masks?

He's in it for one reason DB, the money, nothing else. If the $135 million figure is true, which I find hard to believe, what a waste of money and time :!:

LONDON – Daniel Craig was tempted back to reprise his James Bond role because he knew it would “make history” as he would have held the milestone for 13 years in the role.

The 49-year-old actor had previously insisted he wouldn’t be making a return to the spy role but decided to sign up to another movie as he would be making history by starring in the next instalment.

A source told the New York Daily News’ Confidential column: “MGM and [Craig] had not spoken for over a year. Daniel said he was done, he meant it. She said he wasn’t, she meant it. Sure, the financial deal was interesting. He was very proud of that [13 year] milestone.”
