More from Martin Campbell, this time saying that he doesn't think that the new Bond will be cast for another 2 or 3 years. But...but...I thought Tom Hardy had already been cast in the role.

But...but... the bookies say it will be Rege-Jean Page!

I think under normal circumstances Campbell would be right and Babz certainly would like to put it off that long, however Amazon now has a say in the process. Supposedly NTTD needs to make $900mil to brake even, a herculean feat in the best of times. It's all but certain NTTD will bomb harder than Nagasaki, this was the case before the pandemic and now is all but guaranteed. Amazon will want to recoup their investment on this property, MGM's biggest, or so we're told. The world is changing for EON and they know it, as evidenced by the John Logan article in which he "white knights" for the production company against the Amazon overlords. It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out, if I still had even an iota of faith in EON I might even be concerned, however at this point I'll just grab some popcorn and enjoy the show.

Bookies' odds stories crack me up. News outlets treat it like a sports league, or maybe an election. "Tom Hardy is ahead at the moment, but James Norton is gaining ground." Because that's totally how movie casting works.

Craig has FYOU money and yet he doesn’t leave any of it to his kids/step kid ? Wow.

I don’t think they have to worry as long as Rachel Weisz is working.

Yet he only did Bond for the bucks, not the prestige. He should have done it for free if he feels money is the root of all evil. He is a disgrace to his own family to say something so ridiculous.

Those living in Australia will have to wait a little longer for No Time to Die. Like in the U.K., the next James Bond movie was set to open in the Land Down Under on September 30, but according to THR, Universal Pictures (which is handling international distribution) has decided to push it to November 11 in response to the delta variant’s spread there. Sources also told the outlet that Universal could “tweak certain territories” with No Time to Die’s release like it did with F9, but as far as the U.S. and U.K. are concerned, Universal and MGM (which is handling the movie’s domestic release through United Artists Releasing) are “adamant” that the movie will stay put on its current dates. Those in the United States will still get to see No Time to Die in theaters starting on October 8, while moviegoers in the United Kingdom will have access to even earlier with a September 30 release date. It was also announced that No Time to Die’s world premiere will take place on Tuesday, September 28 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, with some special guests attending..........start a calendar here now counting down the days to the end of Cr-egg as Bond on September 30th, when it officially signals his last Bond film has opened :!: How long before Broccoli names the 7th 007, assuming she is not bought out? ......Under/over 12 months?

Amazon owning more than half the bond franchise is the game changer for Babs. She wasted so much time, she always had the upper hand in negotiations because the studios needed her to find revenue. Closest she’s been is when QOS hit bottom hard, their partnership with Sony wasn’t so hot, there were rumors about bad feeling over revenue splits. Sony gave eon a picture deal Babs never felt like making. You’d have to dig hard to find it. Kind of like Connery was signed to two none bond movies when he made DAF, studio quietly backed out when he didn’t make the next bond movie. In fairness Connery wanted one of the Mose movie to be Macbeth or something

Given the speed at which she normally works, I'm gonna go for over.

Then again, if Babbzy is his role model for inheritance rather than getting by on your own merits, can you blame him?
