Enough rain MP.......time for dry spells.................In an early draft of Spectre, Blofeld's former associate Mr. White (Jesper Christensen) revealed to Bond that he and Blofeld were part of a French Foreign Legion outfit dubbed "Les Spectres de Pierre". This unit was apparently into illegal activities, but a defining moment for Blofeld came when he and his men were caught in a sandstorm. With no rations and facing likely death, Blofeld killed everyone - bar Mr. White - in their sleep so he could cannibalize their bodies. He didn't spare Mr. White out for friendship either; he just needed assistance to haul the food across the desert.

Actress Tawny Kitaen, who appeared in "Bachelor Party" and provocative 1980s rock videos, and a Seinfeld episode, has died in California. She was 59. Kitaen -- whose real first name was Julie -- died Friday at home in Newport Beach, according to a release from the Orange County Coroner's Office. The cause of death is not yet known :!: Image

Mikkelsen claims the torture scene in Casino Royale was almost cut due to being too intense for the franchise, saying: "It was actually on the cutting table for a while, in and out, because it was a little radical for Bond.”

The domestic box office continues to bounce back amid the COVID-19 pandemic as Godzilla vs. Kong surpassed $92 million this weekend. It's a very promising milestone for upcoming tentpoles like Paramount's A Quiet Place Part II (May 28), Marvel Studios' Black Widow (July 9), and Universal's F9 (June 25). Globally, the monster mash has made a little over $422 million, prompting Warner Bros. to kick off development on a fifth MonsterVerse project with GvK director Adam Wingard at the helm. Variety points out that the fourth colossal entry in the shared monster universe "surpassed revenues for its predecessor, the poorly reviewed, mega-budgeted Godzilla: King of the Monsters. That film, which was released in 2019, tapped out with $386 million.".............Now that Godzilla vs Kong has been considered a major success for both Legendary and Warner Bros, fans have been eager to know whether or not the MonsterVerse will continue. While there has yet to be any official confirmation regarding the future of the franchise, there appears to have been some new developments. Specifically, it looks like Godzilla vs Kong director Adam Wingard is reportedly entering talks to direct a Son of Kong movie.

If it hadn't been for the pandemic, GvK would have been a billion-dollar movie easily.

I get my second jab on Saturday, and UK cinemas reopen on Monday. I tried to book a ticket to see Godzilla vs Kong at my local multiplex, but their shitty website keeps crashing. I'll either have to try again and hope for the best, or see it at a different cinema.

NY Yankee coaches got the Covid vaccine in March.......he just tested POSITIVE for covid....... :hair: ................looks like Fauci had a LOT to do with funding Wuhan bat virus lunatic experimentations after all with his 'gain of function' research. :hair:------------'Phil Nevin, the third-base coach for the Yankees, and Reggie Willits, the first-base coach, tested positive despite being vaccinated.'

Booked my ticket to see the big monkey punch the big lizard. I couldn't book for the cinema near me, so I'm going to have to go to the one downtown instead. Their loss.
