Broccoli was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) by the Queen of the United Kingdom in the 2008 New Year Honours. In 2014 she was selected as a member of the jury for the 64th Berlin International Film Festival..........why? Image Image

Don't know about the festival, but OBEs are mostly about money, and the Bond films have brought a lot of that into the British economy. I doubt it was because Her Maj really liked Quantum of Solace!

You know me well that we can agree on Turner. Are you still seriously about mixing him with that b1tch? You KNOW that I DON'T trust her as she gets away with all unforgivable things she did. I can honor the franchise's first 40 years with 20 films. After that, it's done. NO MORE!!!!

Jamie Dornan wants to be the next Bond

I actually wouldn't be suprised if this happened. Barbara seems to be the type of woman that could be a real fan of a kinky Twilight fanfic.

It is a long-running Brit show from the '70s (a short-lived American remake starring Dom DeLuise was made, but I think it only lasted a few episodes) that later spawned three films. This is almost certainly an April Fool's joke, though. The broken link and the idea that Blakey is to be made gay confirms this.

Get that bus out Kristatos!

Yes it was an April Fool of course. :yay:

I did not know about the US version with Dom DeLuise.

Here is a clip of Blakey:

i was thinking this in the back of my mind because I hate this freaking day.

But it does sound like a Hollywood idea, let's remake sent of a woman except it's about blind army officer who happen to be a lesbian.

I don't think many people do, though Mrs Kristatos says she vaguely remembers it being on. Funnily enough, I have just put the latest issue of the Wessex Chronicle (the magazine of Wessex Society) to bed, which features an article by me on the Bristol Lodekka, the bus used in the series.
