Seems like Skyfall is getting better and better... NOT.
"A source told The Sun: 'Female fans will have more than Daniel to gush over now Ben's been cast as Q. He'll be a big draw." Are they kidding? Q to attract women in a Bond film? Here, Q will be better looking than Bond  :!:
1) has he actually been cast? and 2) ARE THEY KIDDING?!?!?! For real Q will be WAY better looking than Bond. Excuse me while I laugh uncontrollably. Maybe this is where the problem lies, now I understand. Barbara thinks Q is Bond and Bond is Q!!
What is that supposed to be? a lazertag ring?

I didn't think about it that way the new Q in a suit would look more like Bond. I sort of understand why the think Q should be young guy but he does not look like a guy who's in charge of Q division. It is like what I was saying about Craig being a rookie Bond, he does not look like guy fresh out of the military unless he was a lifer. We are talking about guy in the 30s who look in their 20s. Special Ops guys are deceptively regular sometime, they do not look like bad asses or guys who spend all day at the gym. Once in a while you'll see a look from a real special Ops dude that let you know he can hurt a man 100 different way with a pen, thats what Bond used to have, he was not a brute he was cool guy who could take a date to high end restaurant and enjoy himself and a guy who could sit in the field eating MREs just as comfortably.

For your reference 'Arthur Daley' was character in a famous British TV programme 'Minder', who was a man who bought and sold goods, in less than legal ways!

Anyway... i wish i could have things to sell on EBAY!
I though maybe he was an auction show guy or something. I use the gray market to the best I can. Never cheat anybody. I do try to game the system and jump on the really good deals first. This year nothing. I got 1 24'"tv and a few xbox games either I'll keep them or they will Xmas gifts to family.

Times are tough everywhere I suppose.

You know what you said about QOS dvd is probably right, but DVD prices drop so quickly it almost is worth waiting. I think the GE reloaded Xbox & PS3 will be on sale big time before xmas, the QOS game was one a huge discount the year it came out and it sold a lot better than GE, problem with QOS is it was a reloading of COD MW game, but with both of these games the on line section of it sucks because unlike the COD series there are not enough people to get a game going.

I think the last good Bond game was Everything or Nothing, I think Babs was asked why they don't make of movie out of it and she said that was Pierce's Bond and they couldn't do this with Craig, or something like this. This was a long time ago so I have no idea when she would of said this, saw it in a gaming forum.

I like Battlefield, I'm in to COD series just for the online play. I got an xbox because the PSN crashed for so long. Xbox live is better in my opinion, and the PC version of these game are even better than either gaming system. Wish I had PC that could handle them properly, My processor is OK but the graphics end is lame.

I have a copy of Battlefield 3 coming I heard it was very well done. But COD sucks all of the oxygen out of the room here as well, Everyone want the newest COD and to be the first to get know the maps and build up rank before all the 6th graders step in and knick everyones ass. Not kidding bout the 6th graders I sware most of the top players are under 12. You don't know it until they speak. Then it's like Jesus dude isn't it past your bed time!

From the way Babs is shaping up the current Bond film, there is a move to make them more arty type films...........hope she puts back the entertainment facet back, as we had in the glorious old Bond days................as i've said before i thought CR was a pretty good film, but QOS was one of the worst cinematic experiences i've ever had, and left me totally deflated when i left the cinema. It better not happen with 'Skyfall' or DCINB could have a new recruit! :)

BBC is confirming it, naming Whishaw's agent as a source, so it seems pretty solid.

Unreal. This dude really WILL look a lot more like Bond, and a lot more attractive than Bond itself. The only man younger than Craig they can cast as Q is Kevin Weisman from Alias, whose character Marshall on Alias was EXACTLY an American version of Q. And HE can play geek like nobody's business. As in tech geek, which this young attractive dude sure as hell doesn't look like. Nuts.

The new Q is a bizarre casting choice, to say the least.
And I don't like the look of Craig so far from the shots we've seen. His hair looks almost like a skinhead.......

It truly is a Bizarre Choice and agree it will totaly change the dynamic between Bond and Q.
Bond will, on only his second mission ( as QOS was a follow on from CR ) Be the "Old Man" of the service.
and with all these young faces. it will only show how Haggarad Craig now Looks, I imagine most of the budget
for SKYFAIL will go on his Make-up.
