I would think he has to be there. After 4 years and all the rumors it should be a little informative. Maybe they will announce it is Craig's last to try to tug at the heart stings of the Oscar people ;)

Just read Expendables 2 might of killed 2 stunt men

So everything we were predicting her since 2006 is coming to pass. Wonderful!

You know what we tried to save the bloody franchise unfortunately money talked louder than common sense. They are going to drive the series strait in to a wall at 100 mph, it is like watching a train wreck unfold. We can see where it started to go off the rails, where the series got in to trouble and nobody listened to our warnings.

I'm a sure of one this the sycophantic fan boy still clapping and cheering for QoS will be clapping all the louder for Spyfail.

While those of us who were fans of Cubbys series for 40 years and Bond in general for 60 years are left with nothing.
I am very afraid for the 23rd movie BUT I also think, like BJ said, that Sony and MGM are at this point stepping in. MGM CANNOT afford a failure, and if this doesn't do well (correction, if this doesn't do SENSATIONALLY well) the knives will be out to end it immediately. I just hope that it's not a disaster because like you I'm afraid if that was the case, we'd be left with no franchise and I REALLY don't want to even consider that thought.

Put it this way, I was chatting with a young friend who is an actor last night and he said these exact words "Bond used to be something to idolize. A myth. IT WAS BOND! Everything about it was fabulous. Everyone wanted to be Bond because it was so unattainable, stylish. Even Bond girls were a major deal, not just Bond himself. And everyone bowed down to the Bond actor because, well, he was Bond. Now after Daniel Craig? Nobody gives a sh*t." And that is the perfect summary of what the green vegetable and the Craigster did to this franchise. (and btw my friend also agreed completely that Henry Cavill should be the next Bond). Coming from an actor.
Do not worry.............once the green vegetable's failure is revealed once again, Sony will tell her to get lost and hibernate with her lost soul brother Mikey. Jackman will come in, invigorate to the role, and gross over $600 million in his first Bond film. FBF will do the contracts, Ale will do the casting, Mazer will do the accounting with $150 million to watch over, and I personally will see to it the queen B has NO say in Bond 24.
Sounds like a perfect plan!

Casting will be as follows (two scenarios based on whether Jackman does it or not, sadly I don't think it's likely but anyway):
Bond - Hugh Jackman
Felix Leiter - Michael Vartan
M - Jeremy Northam
Q - BIG problem. I can only think of actors from the movies of the '60s who would be great in the role. Sigh.
Moneypenny - Karine Vanasse (you can see her on Pan Am, she's French Canadian so big advantage since she's fluent in French too)
Main Bond girl - Kate Beckinsale
Bond girl no.2 - Trisha Helfer
Main Villain - Djimon Honsou

OR

Bond - Henry Cavill
Felix Leiter - Gabriel Macht (from Suits, USA Network show that had a LOT of Bond references)
M- Jeremy Northam
Q - see above
Moneypenny - Rachel McAdams or Karine Vanasse
Main Bond girl - Minka Kelly
Bond girl no. 2 - Taylor Cole
Main Villain - Djimon Honsou

Needless to say, director JJ Abrams and writing crew Roberto Orci - Alex Kurtzman - Jeff Eastin - Aaron Korsh
Good casting. Rachel McAdams can she do a british accent?

Scary picture of Fiennes look in full Hades mode

Ralph Fiennes blames Twitter for 'eroding' language

Glad you approve of the casting Omega! I have heard Rachel McAdams do a British accent and now I don't remember where?! I just can't remember :O I know she can do it and now I don't remember why. LOL I sound like Babs when she's trying to remember why she's the head of the Bond franchise with poor Michael W. She doesn't even know why, just that she got the job.

OMG that Fiennes photo is HORRIBLE! Why did he make himself so d**n ugly and clochard-like as the French say?
She will win the USA X factor show at the end.
Saw her, she's VERY good and she will most likely win! But I prefer the two men (the dude who is 59 and looks twenty years younger.. put him next to Craig to show the REVERSE effects aging has depending on one's genes LOL and the young boy who sings Stevie Wonder so well).

Craigster will HAVE TO be at the press conference, it's the presentation for the new movie, no WAY he isn't there. Especially since he needs to be all buddy-buddy with his friend Mendes. LOL liveliness from this press conference? With the doom and gloom premise? LMAO I am curious. Unless they hire a clown to throw water at them I think it'll be worse than the QoS one.

Bond 23 conference...........i mean Craig would have to be there, otherwise it would be a PR disaster.

More importantly, is how much info Wilson and Babs are going to tell us about Bond 23............i mean at least we should get a title for the film.

Film is only a year away now from premiere.

http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Albert-F ... 27601.html More of The Bourne Mimicry in a Bond film, with a useless presence to boot? They are attempting to raid Hollywood's A-list to elevate the simian's appeal to the masses, but it won't work..........forget it EON..............Bond 23 will be your Titanic, the ship, NOT the film :!: I am telling you DC might be told to stay away......."Sam Mendes will be on hand as the director, and 'presumably' Bond himself Daniel Craig will be there with him, but the studio has been so unwilling to confirm casting rumors that they won't even announce which other cast members will be there."........he does not want to discuss his other flops which most likely will be mentioned by a non-Eon paid off reporter.

Why is this happening EA? How can an English country with a king and queen have Mohammed as the number one name for boys?

It will be done as a 'theatre in the round' stage production, but on film, to enhance the queen B's artistic muses.

Slightly too obvious the road they want to go down. I do not like them getting another Bourne alumni.

It's time to discuss the Immortals film out in 2 weeks. It looks like a better film than Clash Of The Titans and it has Cavill as a Russell Crowe-like gladiator. This could surpass the $100 million mark in the USA, except for an R rating, and will establish Henry as the future Bond after Jackman has his run.

Because they count all the different spellings as one name, which they don't do for any other name that has variant spellings. It's elementary statistics-fiddling, using inconsistent methodologies in order to get the result you want.

Saw a new ad for Girl With The Dragon Tattoo during the World Series game last night. Not much of an improvement.
