What’s refreshing is that he’s upfront about his intentions. Also, by “categorically” taking himself out of the running, he finally puts an end to all the rumors about his involvement. It wouldn’t of worked anyway. Nolan typically works with his wife who serves as one of the producers of his films. Not sure if Barbara Broccoli’s ego can handle that. And, yeah, I also sensed that he wants nothing to do with a Craig Bond film.

Ah, Danny Boyle, for those who feel Sam Mendes is too gauche!

On the forum? Looks like a email error maybe? I'll look at the error logs.

The build up to Bond 25 feels way off. Now claymation Craig just throws cold water on the few fanboy still devoted to the idea of him returning.

If anyone here knows how to make emojis, I have an idea for a Craig emoji: a tuba, followed by the PBS logo.

I think it might be a DOS attack. We had something along the lines of 400 to 600 bot-users sign up. None of them were activated because I have Moderators approve any new members. I purged them out of the database, banned many bad email domains, and reset the spambot Turing test.

Craig could play False Face in the next Batman film.

The latest:

http://deadline.com/2018/02/james-bond- ... 202298157/

EXCLUSIVE: My pal Justin Kroll at Variety is on to something with his speculative report that Danny Boyle is high on MGM’s list to take the helm of James Bond. But the scenario is complicated and fascinating, my sources said. When he directed the opening ceremonies of the 2012 London Olympics, Boyle helmed Daniel Craig in a filmed bit that involved an action scene with a cameo from Queen Elizabeth II, so there is history between the actor and filmmaker. Boyle had an idea for a very specific 007 movie, and he and his Trainspotting partner John Hodge have teamed up to work out the beats. Hodge is writing that version and if it all works out, that would be the 007 film that Boyle would helm.

It is similar to the way that Quentin Tarantino set up to potentially direct an R-rated Star Trek film being scripted by The Revenant scribe Mark L. Smith. MGM and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson sparked to Boyle’s idea enough to engage Hodge, who has quietly been writing their version.

Hodge won’t be done for a couple of months, but when he turns in the script, one of two things will happen. MGM and the producers will like it enough to shelve the movie they were contemplating — the listed writers are Neal Purvis & Robert Wade, whose 007 credits include Skyfall, Spectre and Casino Royale — and they will instead make the version that was cooked up by the Trainspotting team. Otherwise, Boyle won’t direct the film and it will be back to the other script, for which MGM and the producers had assembled a short list consisting of a trio of cool directors Deadline told you about last summer: ’71 helmer Yann Demange, Blade Runner 2049 helmer Denis Villeneuve and Hell or High Water director David Mackenzie.

The opportunity for Bond 25 to be fueled by a story line and the energy, edge and invention of the Trainspotting team sounds kind of irresistible though. So if I was placing a bet, it would be that Boyle once again finds himself behind the camera with Craig as 007. Maybe they can get Craig’s Olympics sidekick, Her Majesty, to reprise. Stay tuned. No comment from MGM.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Léa Seydoux is set to shoot a movie called The Story Of My Wife next year, which would most likely overlap with Bond 25’s filming schedule. Pointed out by @Bond25Film, this could mean we won’t be seeing the return of Madeleine. Nevertheless, it’s still possible the actress could cameo in a death scene if her part was only a couple of days.

Oh great I've always wanted to see a junkie Bond in a frantic fever dream of a film! But then could it be any worse than the half assed, won't be done till last day of re-shoots dumpster fire Purvis and Wade are banging together? (Funny how the article conveniently omits TWINE and DAD which P&W wrote!)

Don't worry BJ, if she does come back I'd be surprised if her character even makes it through the pre-title sequence!

I really hope they don't take such a predictable route, the sole rationale for which seems to be that they did it before in OHMSS.

There's now a Funko Pop of Connery in Goldfinger: https://007store.com/products/pop-rides ... martin-db5

Not sure if they do one of TUBAPBS. It might be too difficult to tell it from the real thing.

A great many viewers watching the EE BAFTA Awards, broadcast from the Royal Albert Hall at the weekend, commented on Bond star Daniel Craig’s unexpectedly zaftig appearance. The British actor, known the world over for that shot in 2006’s Casino Royale where he emerges from the sun-dappled Atlantic off the Bahamas, wearing a tiny pair of swimming trunks and displaying nary a sliver of body fat, was visibly heavier in the face and body on Sunday. The Daily Mail’s diary writer, Sebastian Shakespeare, confidently avers that Mr Craig’s Jewish wife, Rachel Weisz, introduced him to Harry Morgan’s restaurant in St John’s Wood and, as he is currently between 007 assignments, Mr Craig is fairly gorging himself on salt beef, sauerkraut and latkes. :hair:  ImageImage Image Image

REALLY?!?!?!?! That's the best they could come up with?!? Craig's face is waxy, smooth and plastic because he's keeping kosher? Now I have heard it all!
