James Bond is dead. Kingsman is all we got in terms of a classic Bond. That and M:I.

I haven't watched it I'm kind of confused about all his different, projects which is a good thing he's got so many projects. The Son

Has anyone got a chance to watch The Son? Out of all the post-Bond works, this series is Pierce's best so far.

The idea is good, but half way through the writer, director or producer suddenly changes things up to a stupid simple story. I forget exactly what it was but something in the first 20 minutes of the movie established something about Brosnan's character, he never does this or only does that, in the ...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

Pierce looks like he's playing against type as a bad guy this time - a really bad guy. He's played morally compromised characters before, in The Matador, The Tailor of Panama and The Ghost Writer , but i think this is his first out-and out villain in a long time. An older version of the IRA hitman ...

Pierce's role in The Foreigner almost reminds me of Tommy Lee Jones' character in The Fugitive.

The 1978 movie that foretold the future of 007 films http://bit.ly/2scI8YA Hooper, starring Burt Reynolds as an aging stuntman working on a James Bond-like movie being helmed by an "auteur" director, Roger Deal (Robert Klein). With Adam West as Adam, the star of the James Bond-like movie. I wonder ...

Despite being 40 when he did DAF, Sir Sean was showing his age.

How's that a difference FBF? Sounds like the same thing to me.

By the way, I really enjoy watching Sean in Last Crusade. It was awesome.
Sorry I MEANT "are not designed to be like Bond."

Re: Roger Moore 1927-2017

What really bugs me is the double standards because there are plenty of other actors like Harrison Ford and Bruce Willis playing action roles well into their 60s and no-one bats an eyelid. The only difference is that roles like Indy and McClane are designed to be like Bond, who is seen by the publi...

d**n! Roger Moore is dead. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro I was hoping Sir Rog would get past 100, but without him, it's like losing Leonard Nimoy all over again. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

Star Trek II, III, and IV were action driven with a great trilogy non-political storyline arc :!: That......is the model :!: What do you think of VI, which is influence by the end of Cold War? It was just OK FBF and Shatner was showing his age by then. But this isn't James Bond where age is an issue.
