I don;lt think I'll be reading the "Bond on set" Casino Royale edition. It's too annoying!

I don't blame him for trying something different. People were a bit snooty about Fleming's novels and he was a bit bored with the same formula and his character - similar to Herge and Tintin.

He would have been tolerable, if overly camp.

He would have been an intriguing choice for a young Bond. not sure that Eon would have pproached him , though.

I thought the ending of Casino Royale (the movie)was far too over the top. I thought Bond was going to defuse a few nuclear weapons and get attacked by men with spear guns when he was underwater.

It's a shame that Eon have such a grip over Bond.

They could make a Thunderbirds/Team America style Bond film. Daniel Craig could even play James bond.
