I don't recall any `knock knock' jokes or `mother-in-law' jokes, but the script did have some black humour moments. Guess it depends on whether you found them funny or not.

Re: 'the greatest james bond movie in film history'

A lot of so called 'good reviews' and A+++++++++++ ratings came from the critics two weeks before the official premiere of the movie... I saw some news articles as early as october 18, 2006 saying that 99.5% of so called 'movie critics' in UK & US said that the movie is great and they give it a two...

CR beats Spiderman 2 - now at $585,854,128

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Sony's "Casino Royale" surpassed 2002's "Spider-Man" and now occupies the No. 21 slot on the all-time international boxoffice chart. I certainly hope not. Geez 3 million isn't that much when making a movie! Compared to how much the movie made its an insult. For craig it was more money then he ever saw before. might never have if didn't take this role. that motivated him more than the role of 007 . same thing happened to ...

Daniel Craig does look a bit like Robert Shaw! Like Daniel Craig, Robert Shaw would have made a poor Bond. Craig is a good actor, and would have been great as a Bond villian; but a weatherbeaten musclebound 40 year old Daniel Craig as a young James bond is simply awful in my opinion ! I took the li...

Re: The Anti-Bond

The Anti-Bond doesn't have the sense of fun of 007, either book or films. The film Bond is well known to have this trait. I've read all the books, and with the exception of CR , Bond exhibits an increasing humour, much of it self-aimed. I think you stated the obvious right there. CR the novel was n...

Robert Shaw is looking *a lot* like craig's Bond.
Now you come to mention it, Craig does like Shaw on that pic. I think he went on record saying this was his favourite film, and Shaw was his favourite actor in a Bond film.

There was also a Perrier crash in TLD too from what I remember (opening in Gibraltar).
