I believe there were stories of lazenby asking to come back all throughout moore era. I wish he had come back July like I do for Dalton and brosnan. But ultimately I think he would not be remember as well as he is today for one decent movie , eon actually took the time to plan out and prepared for o...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

I'm curious to know when this offer to the Goat of Mendes was made, given that we're perpetually being told that there's no movement on a new Bond film, and that we're forever two years away from production starting. The article doesn't say, and I'm wondering if this isn't an old story that they du...

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

Part one if kind of off putting. I might not have seen latest spiderverse movie if I’d known it was part 1. Unless part two is ready to roll out to theaters by Christmas why mention it? If the mi movies comes to a halt here, this mi is short of the last two but not by all that much , us market usual...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

This is an interesting little interview with would be Bond in TLD, Finlay Light. Looking forward to everyone's thoughts on last paragraph about Babz https://venetianvase.co.uk/2023/07/05/finlay-light-an-interview-with-the-australian-james-bond/ No surprise there. Didn't she shag Dalton as well? Sen...

Re: Box office thread

Honestly I’m impressed Oppenheimer is at $400 million world wide, kind of standard Christopher Nolan performance
Guess Mendes will make a fat an and little boy movie next, since he seems to ape Nolan

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

If they go with craig it’ll be another failed dc attempt at making a universe. I just don’t think Craig can pull off a good Lex Luthor, he won’t be worse than Jesse Eisenberg.

Re: Box office thread

I think there is rarely a single cause for a film failing at the box office. Different people stay away for different reasons. Ballooning budgets certainly don't help. It seems that practically every major movie now has a price tag that means it needs to make a billion dollars just to break even. I...

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

There is no way Broccoli will ever pick someone more famous than her. She might not ever pick another actor, and if she intends to emasculate Bond even more going forward, while using him as just a prop to build up 'girl' power in the franchise, then she should end it altogether already and put it ...

Re: Box office thread

Honestly I’m not planning to watch it, not after crystal skull. Most of the people I know who have seen it say that it's better than Crystal Skull, though not as good as Raiders or Last Crusade. But I think the memory of Crystal Skull probably killed this one at the box office. Sent from my SM-G986...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

I have read many Indy 5 reviews and the majority all state the film debases the lead character and emasculates and insults him while trying to build up the female lead to be more important than him. They even give Phoebe her own Short Round it looks like. This is why the film tanked at the box offi...

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

True when cubby cast he liked unknowns or up and coming , Craig fit that because he was a never was, only has any fame now because of bond. Brosnan and Dalton were on cubby radar before the public was aware of them. Unless eon really get their act together and hires a Nolan for a trilogy and they pi...

Re: Box office thread

Weirdly the Spider-Man movie is bigger in the USA than the rest of the world , I was wondering if it had territories still to release , but the original was about the same kind of performance.
