Re: Barbara Broccoli as 007?

She is a successful villian. Dr No, Blofeld, Hugo Drax et al could not kill Bond but Barbara Broccoli was able to do it. :D

Re: Skyfall = Bond is dead

Bond is not overly handsome? I must have been reading some different Ian Fleming novels all these years. :) Fleming's Bond was the archetypal film star handsome hero type not a literary Hugo Drax lookalike. I imagine Bond as having a relatively normal body. In the novels he is tough and often hurts ...

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

Radical versions of Sherlock Holmes are not offensive because of the quantity and variety of Hoimes adaptions on television and film.

A version set in modern day New York with Lucy Liu as Watson ...and Rob Schneider as Mrs Hudson. Why not?

Re: Bond 23 to start where QoS ends

It will probably be best to not do a continuation. After a four year hiatus it isn't likely. Plus the Vesper storyline has been resolved. They can approach the QUANTUM arc like the 60s films did with SPECTRE, one mission at a time. In a recent interview with Craig he said the next one would be a lo...

He could have sung the theme too.
I don't think he should have played Bond, butI'd rather he played James Bond than sung the theme song. :)

Perhaps the series could be rebooted again with Bond 23 as a prequel to Casino Royale. :)

Daniel Craig is not very photogenic. All the other Bonds could be male models.

Is Fassbender being considered by Eon productions, or is he just a fan favourite? I'm undecided on his suitability.

Perhaps Eon could start a new two part story with the upcoming Bond movie. Personally I would prefer a one-off story....with a new actor playing the famous spy.

I mariginally prefer Tomorrow Never Dies to The World Is Not Enough because as Roger Ebert said "Tomorrow Never Dies gets the job done, sometimes excitingly, often with style". I agree. It's a fun solid typical James Bond move, the sort of traditional James Bond movie that could be made if the reboo...

Re: Next James Bond Now Likely To Be Sam Worthington

These type of bet based beliefs never end well. Craig was nowhere on their scope and I think when it leaked he was Babs favorite then the odds makers changed. Daniel Craig was an unknown before he was cast. I didn't know who he was. Clive Owen, Hugh Jackman, Ewan McGregor and other such moviestars ...
