Re: This Site is Still Infamous Apparently

CR needed better editing. QoS was utterly forgettable. SF was okay entertainmentwise, but bogglingly stupid at the beginning--my wife is head of IT security for a major defense contractor. You NEVER plug a suspicious item into your network. I haven't seen any since.

Re: This Site is Still Infamous Apparently

I've been away a decade. Things happened. Searched for the site, found it, and found that, too. And yes, it's as shallow as I expected Mental Floss to be.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

OHMSS had great fight scenes, but yeah, Lazenby didn't have the acting chops.

Have I really been gone for a decade? Apparently so. Checking things out again.

Bruce Campbell?

They have to be just fan rumors that Bruce Campbell might be considered to replace Craig.

I like Bruce. He's a good guy (met him several times). But he's 54 and very American. OTOH, he did a BRILLIANT job in Bubba Hotep.

Craig at Olympics

Fantastic opener to the London Games. But I have to call BS on one scene--Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Daniel Craig as James Bond parachuting into the stadium?

Sorry. I don't believe for a second that Daniel Craig has what it takes to hit the canopy.

Gun companies advertise. I don't think any of them spam. I don't know what PSA is referenced.

Re: Bond Guns

I enjoy Bond, but Dirty Harry would have three magnums into him before he stopped posturing (movie Bond).

Bond Guns

The Beretta 418 in .25 caliber, which I think was Bond's original gun. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh119/mzmadmike/guns/Beretta2.jpg Nice and light...in a lady's handbag. I would have given him this Eibar in .22. I call it, "the Mexecutioner." http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh119/mzmadmik...

Re: Possible Bond Guns

Well, Craig, IIRC, isn't "comfortable" with guns.

Yet another reason I should be Bond before I'm too old. "Now, pay attention, Q, because I'm only going to show you this once..."

Re: Possible Bond Guns

Yeah, well Bond went from a .25 to a .32 to 9mm. Another 20 years and we'll finally get him into a man's gun. This is my third 9mm. My classic M1935 Browning got stolen. :cuss: The Beretta was not only bad, it was an unergonomic brick. This is much, much better, and can provide its own cover f...
