Re: POLL, the most romantic Bond movie?

My idea was that all the other couples would get votes and Craig would get zero votes.

You people didn't get it though, you ruined it.

And most didn't bother to vote at all.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

They say Lazenby was very cocky and self-confident though, I don't think he was nervous. He also handled himself well in the fight scenes and the filmmakers were impressed by this. But he didn't have the same screen presence as Connery and Moore. Lazenby was sort of a poor man's version of 007, and ...

Drunk man in Moore Bonds

Have we mentioned this guy before on the forum? He was a fun recurring character in the late Roger Moore era. His name was Victor Tourjansky. He was a Russian living in Italy. He wasn't credited in the films, but he was in at least Spy, Moonraker and FYEO. https://www.bondmovies.com/wp-content/uploa...

Re: POLL, Tatiana Romanova in FRWL

It's a shame Julie Christie wasn't in any of the 60s Bonds.

But Tatiana Romanova according to Fleming looked a bit like Greta Garbo, and Tania Mallet looked similar to Garbo actually.

Becoming Bond, a film about George Lazenby

Did you know about this film? I found out about it recently, had no idea it had come out in 2017. The film is a mix of documentary and a re-enactment, chronicling the stranger-than-fiction true story of George Lazenby, a poor Australian car mechanic who, through an unbelievable set of circumstances,...

One got the impression you thought it was unrealistic though.

Most people probably know .22 is a small caliber, you don't have to be an expert to know this.

Re: Dirty Benny's Firearm Thread

I was always fascinated by the AR-7, unfortunately it wouldn't be as effective as depicted in FRWL due to it's small caliber (.22) even as described in the film (incorrectly as a .25) I don't think it would have been capable of hitting Krilencu at distance or incapacitating the helicopter co-pilot....
