Re: James Bond: how well do you know 007?

Got 10/10 but that was tricky mixing book trivia and movie trivia.
As much as I enjoyed the movie version of Bond's education I don't believe Fleming ever mentions any studies in Oriental languages.

Re: From Connery to Craig, lie back and think of Lazenby

OHMSS was my first Bond flick at the movies so it holds a special place in my heart. I liked the way GL portrayed JB and liked him even more when I read about his background (years later). At least these movies are OK as action adventure, but just about anyone can be "sold" as an action hero these days....just ...

I also didn't know who this guy was until I saw Xmen First Class. Now I would love to see this guy as JB. He has the "cold" look in a few of the scenes; he reminded me of a young Dalton, tough, no nonsense...and he doesn't look like he's trying to be tough, like, in my opinion, DC is always striking...

Re: James Bond: The Authorized Biography of 007

I know I'm a gushing fan but I liked it. It fills in a lot of background details, James has a brother; how he got the scar on his cheek (from the books only), how he met Fleming and how he got into the "business". It also mentions missions not described elsewhere. It also brings back Honeychile, and...
