By your 8000th post Cr-egg will be on his 10th Bond film at age 65 and I think it will take 1 million views of this thread until Cr-egg is vanquished from the role as well. Good news for you BJMDDS - Goldeneye said the first person to 10000 posts on the forum gets a free Daniel Craig tattoo. ...

And by the opposite token, I hope that WB keeps pumping out those films, just to keep Cavill away from Bond. Especially since U.N.C.L.E. tanked making a sequel unlikely.bjmdds wrote:This should kill off Cavill's career as Superman which would make him available for Bond whenever Broccoli wakes up.

When EON start making Bond films again, it would be a welcome treat if they put Bond back in an Aston.

Not sure about Bond, but I could see Woodward as M. Or as Mallory in a Daltonised Skyfall (1992), replacing Brown as M.

Re: Guy Ritchie to Direct Next Bond?
I didn't want the series rebooted the last time, and I don't want it to happen again, this time set in the past. Just reboot, and keep it in the modern day.

Re: BOND #7
Wait, did you just compare Dalton to Craig?
That's like comparing Bond to..... to Bourne. The Dalton films included the Bond formula, just in a different way. They didn't throw out 'the [s]baby[/s] Bond and the bathwater'.

Re: Sam Neill V James Brolin
The though of either of those being cast, doesn't fill me with excitement. Going by their screentests, Neill comes off as though he's trying to make Bond likeable, and Brolin a bit wooden. But to answer the thread title, I would rather see Sam Neil as an 80's Bond.
