Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

When will the decision on Bond on the next film be made? I may be naive but I thought Hiddleston was going to be announced after all the news at the start of the year.

Re: Your SPECTRE reviews (spoilers)

Craig does look really old. The q meeting where he ask him to find out about the ring or whatever he look like crap and very old despite all the facial treatments, cgi and filters . There is Avery good reason the cgi the hell out of his face in the posters if they'd use a clip from the movie it be ...

Can anyone find an actor in the 70's/80's/90's who was not approached to play Bond?

Re: Dirty Benny's Weekly Rant

Plus, Dench staying gave ammunition to those "James Bond is a code name" cranks. I've no objection to people having their own personal headcanon, even if it doesn't really withstand much scrutiny, but those guys are the Jehovah's Witnesses of Bond fandom, constantly badgering everyone to see the li...

It's really the 4th film in the new series with a new timeline.

Re: James Bond villian quiz

I got 20 before the time ran out. It's quite good fun to play against the clock. My mind went blank with a few entries. Who was the villian in Skyfall? "Evil John Inman" (to steal a line from Charlie Brooker). Sent from my GT-S7500 using Tapatalk 2 "Are you free Mr Kristatos....?" My score was a ro...

Commando Yet another movie in the 80s that was making the Moore films look like a joke. Okay, Commando is OTT but it handles it real well and Arnold is believable as a tough guy with a lot of charisma who can deliver one-liners with ease. *Holds a thug over a cliff* Arnold: "Hey Sully, remember whe...

Re: POLL: You Only Live Twice vs. OHMSS

For You Only Live Twice because it has Sean Connery in it. Both are classics.

I'd have to sit on the fence in a best Blofeld poll between Pleasance and Savalas.

I Googled it and it seems to be a normal surname; so it's not far fetched a story. Bond is better.

Re: Purvis & Wade 007 producers wanted to go into 007's past

I thought Daniel Craig's third Bond movie would be a camp, extraaganza with lots of action. When it finally arrived it had no action and was quite dark. Skyfall was popular so I can't imagine Bond 24 being another Moonraker. The producers have a new formula - boring, dark film - and will stick to it.

I know he was orphan i the Fleming novels etc. I did not like the, one could say, modern changes that were made to the backstory.
