What I find not so dangerous about him is that his personality is way too light to suggest any kind of menace besides bedding women who are old enough to be his granddaughter. As with Brosnan, I thought that made his more ruthless moments, like the killing of Fekkesh in TSWLM or Locque in FYEO, mor...

LALD was one of Moore's best as Bond. He wasn't too much of a 'nancy boy' ... he brought his lighter personality, but still he approached Bond asa more dangerous character thatn (most) of the latter films. Plus, LALD had that excellent score with plenty of the Theme in the background. Example, "My n...

The DC Bond is hardly believable as a character that is supposed to be a very smart cookie at the least, able to outwit the baddies with a combination of naturally high intellect, instinct and the 'touch.' Not for one moment do I believe that the DC Bond is capable of outsmarting his opponents. Off ...

I've seen the film only once, so this is just a very general question. Does Bond know that that the drywall is only a drywall? ie, does he know if anything -- studs -- are behind it? If it's a finished wall, then it would certainly have to front a frame. At the very least, the only way drywall can b...

A completely unretouched photo in sharp light. I think he looks youinger than most 50 year olds even here. With the right camerawork he would definitely still look like Bond in his 40s.

I'm on a continuing missiion for a couple of weeks, so can't login as much as Id like ... But yes, PB certainly still looks like Bond. To be honest, of course, good photography can make a person look cooler. I've seen PB in photos where he does look older. But no matter, he still can play Bond in my...

I didn't have much fun watching Casino Royale. What a soul-destroying experience. Wow, those are really strong words. Of course I agree with you on CR, but at least we have the other films. * It is overlooked that the new 'Bond' is no longer a Royal Navy Victoria Reserve Commander with CMG. He is an army Captain, a couple of rungs lower than a commander. He's been demoted, which seems sadly appropriate. And of course, he's lost his CMG, too. Where do you get this information? The doss...
